Could he not just say look here's the real killer? Yeah he could've, but then what would they do with the next ten hours? And how the fuck did he get the keys to that tractor? He didn't, he simply hotwired it like he did with the (conveniently laptop-containing) car quarter of an hour earlier. I also knew it weren't really plod at the door, but was still shocked to see Clarence Boddicker get three in the chest.

Well I guess that Larry only just arrived at the scene and assumes Jack is the bad guy, but in the next hour they should investigate the house and realise that the house has bullet holes in the wall and then think "why would Jack shoot the wall?"
Another problem I have with Larry is that he seems to be after Jack more out of petty jealousy than anything else.
As for the scene where the assassin was at the door I guess I got caught up in the moment and forgot about him. I thought we might start seeing a new side of Jack, then I thought that Jack would run away as soon as the senator was distracted, but I didn't expect it to be the killer.
Oh yeah the laptop car....that confused the hell out of me. He managed to break into the car without any alarms going off, escaped the feds and then somehow managed to hack into the hospital's CCTV and work out exactly who the killer is. I never thought Jack was that good with computers.

If you remember, on his way out of the hospital, he knocked out the security officer and nicked the disc from the surveillance recorder. He then inserted the disc into his newly acquired laptop from the laptop car and (I'm assuming) uploaded it to his file hosting site. It's not rocket science, as they say.
That footage will no doubt prove useful in exonerating Jack of all wrongdoings later on.

Ahhh I see. Yeah.... that footage shows that of the killer offing that old bloke.... why did he kill him again (not the guy Jack was talking to, the other one he killed)?

I think for a distraction so he could find out the room that Burnett was staying in i think.
The moral of that scene though? It's okay to kill old men if they don't have a family.

Yes, he callously took the old timer's life to drag the nurses away from the nurse's station so he could find out where Burnett was. You'd have thought they'd book him in under a pseudonym though considering he was at such high risk. Stupid stupid plot device!

the twist at the end of the last episode was bullshit. complete, and utter, bullshit. A twist for the sake of a twist. it annoyed me.

Yeah it was pretty stupid. I can put that behind me though, because I have really enjoyed this season. The standoff at the end of that one episode between Starkwood and the FBI was really breathtaking. I was at the edge of my seat.

So I just saw the Tony twist. After reading that there was a big twist in this thread I guessed it would be Tony turning heel. Once Moss was praising Tony and when Jack told the President to take Tony's actions into account I was certain.
How else could Tony have so much information on everyone unless he behind it all? Plus now he can get a pardon perhaps for all his previous actions. It does kind of make sense.
So I don't mind his turn, but it almost guarantees that eventually he'll be killed which sucks. The turn will probably be the catalyst for Jack to chose life as "only he" can defeat Tony. However killing Larry Moss was bollocks. They could have easily created a new extra for the last few episodes and had him in Moss' place. Bollocks!
Perhaps Larry was doomed as soon as he stopped being all Ryan Chappelle to Jack like he was at the start of the year.
Anyone else reckon that Kim could be the secret mastermind behind everything?! "Daddy, this is for killing Grandad!"

I hope Larry isn't dead. They didn't give him a silent clock, which is kind of grasping at straws, but i'll see tonight.

Yeah but there was no silent clock for Tony and we was clearly dead....

Excellent point with the silent clock. Let's see Bill, Teri, George, Ryan, Edgar, David etc all got one. They always had a potential plan for Tony to come back to life so that could explain that.
Maybe Tony was faking the whole thing but I doubt it.

Anyone else reckon that Kim could be the secret mastermind behind everything?! "Daddy, this is for killing Grandad!" Nope, Aaron Pearce is. How else do you explain his invunerability?? Yes, damn the whole US/Canada being before us thing, I guessed too, although looking back I think it was pretty obvious. Not sure what the non-silent clock thing means though- with Tony it was because he was coming back to life- Maybe Larry faked being dead, lets be honest, Tony did a crap job of suffocating him- you could see his nostrils! Oh and I recently aquired the box set as for some reason I stopped watching around the first part of season 4... and I just saw Edgar's death... omg... "Chloe!" So sad.

Yeah me and Somar agree that Edgar's death was one of the saddest/best moments in 24. I really enjoyed this weeks 24 episode, but did anybody else find themselves routing for Tony? I know he killed Larry (no silent clock, wtf?!) but Jack is such a twat right not that I was thinking "damn Jack is gonna fuck up Tony's plan!" Tony was a bit of an idiot though..... shooting himself with his own gun was stupid.... use a different gun than a FBI one moron! So now Jack will be all "Only I can stop Tony... I need this operation! Traa laa laa. I am also amazed that Kim Bauer has found a new level of uselessness this year. One final note that girl who gave John Voight the drug sooooooo should have been Mandy

I loved Tony's "oh shit" face when Jack got off the plane.
I also loved (not) Kim Bauer's "oh my dad is dying, i gotta get the eff out of this city asap. I'll take the conveniently season-finale placed plane home"
