... which apparently is bad, as my husband is now mooching around the house like a family member has passed away, occasionally weeping into the open box of Fable 2 ... *rolleyes*
So yeah, Im sure Ill have lots of fun with sorting this out *waves probably useless extended warrantee* but I thought Id share as your replies will just further cement that I was right when I said "Dont you think a PS3 would be better?"

PS3 doesn't have Fable 2...
But no, the Xbox is just as good. Just has hardware problems is all, but with the newer consoles they no longer exist.

I haven't had the rid ring of death yet, despite excessive guitar hero playing.
I haven't really gotten into Fable 2 yet either, I just arrived in Bowerstone and so far it's E-Z mode with a yellow line telling you where to go and baddies who don't even try to hit you.

You may have bought the consloe 12 months ago but the date it was born could be a few months before that. They do have a DOB on the back of the console btw.
But yeah by new MS mean "within the last 6 months of production" they put new heatsinks and CPU's in to prevent RROD happening.

I think Fable 2 looks like an awesome game, i just never got around to playing it because Fallout3 stole a lot of my time, and then my school went on strike so i picked up WoW again. Fable 1 i loved though.

Well we got ours fixed, and I was really pleased that it was back in time for Xmas... except that not 5 days later the RROD was back... Needless to say after a very snotty phonecall to the repairers, its on its way back again...
