I'm just happy that i got the 3 rings this time as my repairs are free. The first time i got the ring of death, only one of the four lights were red, so i was suppoesd to pay for it, but microsoft, multi-billion dollar company, tried charging my credit card an excess of 20 times and took a month to send me a little white box, so they ended up giving it to me for free.
You guys should reroll on american server Dark Iron '-_-

For once I took out extended warantee, so all my repairs are free- thankfully. How weird that as Im typing this a WoW ad is on tv. Ive often considered rolling on the US realms, but that would mean raiding super late and at the moment Im in bed for 10pm Sam, atm Im taking a little break from Wow- Ive had so much to do over Xmas and I only have three months til the baby comes, so I dont know when I'll be playing properly again. At the moment my druid is parked on Chamber of Aspects, my 70s are on Nagrand.

Well we got ours fixed, and I was really pleased that it was back in time for Xmas... except that not 5 days later the RROD was back... Needless to say after a very snotty phonecall to the repairers, its on its way back again... Well it was returned today, apparently they have "fixed" the RROD it was suffering from... why am I not convinced? I guess we shall see... Oh and Sam, Im playing my pally on Chamber of Aspects again I knew I wouldnt be able to stay away for long A friend of mine is considering starting a ten man raid guild so I think (and hope!) Ill be there for a while, are you settled somewhere now?

Hahahaha, surely the shortest "fixed" period in history? The RROD reared its ugly head again last night. Back to the insurers again it seems...

Wow that is awful. If this is the third time it's happened I have heard stories of people blagging a new console from microsoft. Might be worth you trying that. They've "fixed" it twice, its not on.

Well I rang the insurers this morning and gave them the full brunt of my hormonal rage (trust me its not pretty ) and they are sending it to be assessed for replacement. To me its a no brainer- three times with the same issue, its obviously a major issue. The woman agreed hence why its going off again. I could go direct to Microsoft, but I hear tales of people having 11 replacements through them because they just send out refurbished consoles, so Im going to keep bullying until they give me a brand new one watch this space, I might yet be causing a scene in Game Shame really as I thought by getting an "elite" Id be bypassing all these issues... stupid microsoft.

so when the geniuses at microsoft decided to send me my 360 back, they sent it with an xbox live card taped onto the system with some super duper industrial tape. So now my xbox has this ugly ass giant smudge of stickiness. Glory be to the microsoft workers and their decision making.
at least it hasn't died in the two days i've had it.
