The WWE Draft 2007!

Well, as we all know, next week, the WWE will be holding it's first ever Tri-Branded Draft. No one is exempt, and they will be shaking things up in ECW, Smackdown and raw.

So, what do we all think of this? Anyone whom you would like to see them move around? Do you care much about this upcoming draft? Tell us your thoughts.

I havent watched wrestling for a while, tbh it hasnt been worth the extra £30 odd a month for sky sports, but Ill be keeping an eye on this to see how it pans out and if it looks good, I might well start stumping up the cash again, I kinda miss wrestling

I think it's a great idea, there are guys who need moving to freshen up things. I'll list my thoughts to who needs moving and why.

Raw:

Umaga - He's just Vince's lackey now and I think a move to either ECW or SD could really put him back into the monster role that he was in.

Flair - Openly said he wants a move to Smackdown so he can wrestle different opponents, it's a great idea tbh. I would like to see some different fueds with him before he retires.

Carlito - if they are meaning to push Carlito as a proper heel now, where better place than ECW? The show lacks a top heel and seeming as it's used to develop talent to a proper tier, why not have him there, where he can show WWE fans what he can really do?

Khali - There's only one place fit for this guy, OVW.

ECW:

CM Punk - A move to Smackdown would be great, to me he's now outgrown ECW and needs a move. Smackdown would be a great home for the straight-edge superstar where he could have tons of great fueds with the likes of London, Kendrick and Edge.

Lashley - It's obvious Vince loves this guy and the only reason he's still where he is on ECW is because of his poor mic skills. I say move him to Raw, turn him heel, get him a manager and you'd have a great heel contender for the WWE title.

Smackdown:

Batista - This guy has no heart to wrestle in my opinion any more. Stick him on ECW and be done with it. He's program with Edge has gotten stale already and it's all down to him showing no entusiasum for what he does.

MVP - Yeah he's US Champ, but switch him with that Italian guy who won the IC title and MVP really could become the MVP of the WWE on Raw.

Benoit - I think he's done everything he can on Smackdown, move him to Raw and freshen it up a bit, who knows he could even be put back in that title race again?

I agree with most of what you said Knoxy. I think this Draft would be alot more exciting if ANY of the guys that haven't moved since bthe original brands split, wound up moving. Flair, Michaels, HHH, JBl, Mysterio, just to name a few. I think moving Umaga , Flair and Carlito to Smackdown would be fantastic. Actually, move Umaga to ECW and move Jeff hardy to Smackdown. Now that they're not champs on raw, you can move the hardyz together and they can be on the same show.

Also, i agree with moving MVP to raw. Perhaps a trade: US Title for IC Title? That would freshen things up, wouldn't ya say? Move the US title to raw and the IC Title to Smackdown.

I'm not as excited about this draft as i have been about past ones, but, i am still looking forward to it. I still have those echoing words from the last draft running through my head, when i think about this...."No one is exempt!....No One is exempt!....No One is exempt!"
