So I know Steala has played this, but how about anyone else? This game is just incredibly deep. I got it this morning and I cant put it down. I'm loving the career mode and have so far won all three of my fights and managed to drop someone with one punch.
Seriously, if you have a PS3 or 360 download the demo. While you're at it, if you're a PS3 owner download the infamous demo. That's outstanding too.

This game got an outstanding review from the official UK PS mag and the only reason why I haven't bought it yet is because I am not that familiar with the UFC. But then again I hadn't seen a single WWE match before WWF Attitude and that game ended up getting me hooked on wrestling. They said that the commentating is excellent- see WWE it CAN be done! And the fact it's made by the same people who make Smackdown astonishes me.
Also Infamous, I need to download that demo too. That'll give me something to do when I've watched all my Shimmer DVD's.

Yeah for a THQ game this game is awesome. I'm still really impressed. It's got a steep learning curve but once you've got hold of that it's really fun. The other thing i love about it is that it's unpredictable like real MMA. Sure I've got the bigger fighter but all it takes is one decent punch and you can be down and out.

Actually I haven't gone out and bought it yet, but it is imminent. I decided to wait a few days and see which console to buy it for, in case one console gets a lot of glitches or something.

A few of my mates got it on the 360 and complained of some lagging issues when playing and couple more said they got disc read errors too. The other few of us that got it on the PS3 have had no problems at all.

Cool, thanks. I'm usually more of a PS3 type of guy anyway.

I downloaded this demo today. As soon as the PS3 updates are downloaded and installed I'll be able to play it...

Think there's enough moves on this game?
It takes 20 minutes just to get through the tutorial.

Think there's enough moves on this game? It takes 20 minutes just to get through the tutorial. Yeah but at least there is strategy to it. I like not having to button mash on a game. I'm spending my time between this and inFamous. It's only going to get worse too, Prototype next week as well as Sims 3, swiftly followed by Ghostbusters on the 19th. Who says Summer doesn't have good video games?

Really? Because you pretty much have to button mash during the stand-up if you wanna get any hits in it seems to me.

I dont, I back off and wait for my opponent to open up and let his guard down.

Well there's no fun in it if you don't get blisters.

Well I put a chisel through the side of my thumb today so I'm on injured reserve now. Consider yourself one-upped.
