Okay so Backlash isn't exactly Wrestlemania or Summerslam but tonights Backlash is the 9th annual event so I thought I would make a thread asking what you though is the best ever match from this event.
Here are my top 7.
7. Ultimate Submisson Match
Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit- 01
Not as good as Angle and Benoit's Mania, Rumble or Unforgiven matches but they managed to keep me entertained for half an hour and it was a great pure wrestling match.
6. Last Man Standing
Shane McMahon vs Big Show- 01
Not exactly Angle/Benoit but it was entertaining and with an awesome spot at the end that I marked out for.
5. Crusierweight Title Match:
Billy Kidman (c) vs Tajari- 02
Back when the WWE actually cared about Crusierweights. One of the most underated PPV matches ever imo, sadly overlooked by the Angle/Edge match later in the night.
4. Kurt Angle vs Edge- 02
A great feud and anyone who says Edge can't work face should remind themself of it. This was a period of time when Angle had a classic match every month. Not as good as their rematch next month at Judgement day though.
3. World Heavyweight Championship
Chris Benoit (c) vs Shawn Michaels vs Triple H
I prefer the Mania match but this was very good again. I know a lot of people didn't like it but I really liked the Montreal Screwjob reminders and it was great to see Benoit come out top again.
2. Hardcore Championship
Rhino (c) vs Raven
Simply put imo, along with RVD vs Jeff Hardy at inVasion the best hardcore championship match ever in the WWE.

Intercontinetal Championship
Randy Orton (c) vs Mick Foley
Foley is my favorite wrestler due to his promos and the ring psycology he puts into every match. Foley says he thinks this was his best match ever, he might be right.
