Andrew Martin, best known for his days as Test in WWE, has been found dead in his apartment at the age of 33. He would have been 34 in four days. Authorities in Tampa, Florida, where Martin lived, have not provided any details yet. They have stated that a body was found in a condo, but have not confirmed that the body in question was Martin, however multiple people within the wrestling industry have confirmed that it was Martin's body that was found.
Martin was released from WWE back in February of 2007 after failing a drug test. He then worked for TNA but was not offered a contract and went on to work a bit in Japan. ----------
Fuck. For some reason I was always a fan of Test. Dead at 33 years old, this is fucked up. They need to do something to stop this kind of shit like an off season as simply sacking them for failing drug tests isn't going to solve the problem.
Also I remember when Test wrote about Eddie after his death saying things needed to change. Damn this is sad.

Christ, how tragic. I was only thinking the other day that we've not had a high profile wrestling death for a while now. Yeah I also was a "Testicle", and I found him extremely entertaining both in the ring and on the mike, even though he wasn't really that good.
But then I do hold guys like Sid, Warlord and Warrior in such high esteem. Test was a guy who seemed like he didn't take shit from anyone, and took his own path through life. Shame how it worked out in the end.

This is a shame but didn't he nail Stacey Keibler?
Where do you go from there?

That's a shame. It's times like these when you really start to wonder how many of your favorite wrestlers growing up will actually be alive in ten years.
I'm not sure whether it's the pain killers or the steroids or both (speaking generally, not exclusively about Test) but something's got to change.
