Honourable mentions- Sherry Palmer- Seasons 1-3, Mike Novak- Seasons 1-2, 4-5, Agent Doyle- Season 6, Tom Lennox- Season 6, Ryan Chapple- Seasons 1-3, Carl Webb- Season 1
10. Marie Warner- Season 2
No days every time a character is introduced to 24 you automatically think "THEY ARE A MOLE!" but back in the early days of 24 you weren't trained to think that just yet and you never suspected that little Marie Warner would be a terrorist. You were sure it was either her fiancé Reza or her father (who is also Jack and Claire's father in Lost!). Then she turns heel by shooting her fiancé after saying "Reza, you really are very sweet" in the cutest voice ever. Then she turns into a sexy slut! Also remember her threat "you will not be safe out there Kate, gwaaa haa haa!" Yeah, that was an empty threat..... fuck you 24 season 3.
9. Nina Myers- Seasons 1-3
Not only did season 3 not explain Marie Warner's threat to Kate, but it also didn't answer what Nina whispered into Jack's ear, which was a HUGE mystery at the time! Then they killed her off which was a shame as she was Jack's arch nemesis.
8. Aaron Pierce- Seasons 1-7
Good old Aaron! He has somehow managed to stay alive for every season despite being shot and having his car exploded by an RPG. He also banged the First Lady. What a guy.
7. George Mason- Seasons 1-2
Played by Xander Berkley aka 'That guy in Terminator 2 who's killed while drinking milk', George was hilarious. "You ever notice how wherever you go there's a body count Jack?" His death remains one of the greatest moments ever too.
6. Hector & Roman Salazar- Season 3
Season 3 was a mixed bag, but these two bad guys were great. Roman made me laugh so many times like when he wanted to kill Jack, but Bauer manages to convince them that he is useful "gah, he has more lives than a cat." I was a little sad when they died. Hector was funny, but not in the right way. "Claudia! Claudia!" lol, loser.
Odd fact- Roman Salazar is also the name of one of the main villains in Resident Evil 4.
5. Charles Logan- Seasons 4-6
He started off as a bumbling idiot who couldn't do his job as president right and then in season 5 he turned into a bumbling idiot who was working with terrorists! His heel turn was epic beyond words and his ever paranoid attempts to get Jack was incredible. The best acting we've had in the show imo. The fact he got stabbed half way through Season 6 without telling us if he is dead or alive to this day is pathetic!
4. Chloe O'Brian- Seasons 3-7
I love Chloe. I didn't like her at first as I didn't really get her quirkiness but now I laugh at everything she does. Looks like she's met her rival this year though with FBI's new computer geek.
3. Ira Gaines- Season 1
He was the first big antagonist in 24 and my favourite. He was bad no doubt, but so witty it was fantastic. "Well just so we're like, y'know clear- you're either dead, or you're not dead. There's no such thing as 'Kinda dead'. Here, let me show you" BANG!
2. Mandy- Seasons 1-2, 4
I LOVE Mandy. The bi-sexual terrorist is the only bad guy who has been in more than one season and is still alive. PLEASE bring her back 24!

I don’t really know what to say here really. It’s Tony, nuff said.
Worst characters
10. Max- Season 2
“Who?” You ask. It’s Max. Y’know, Max! This guy;
Ahhhhh, you remember him now right? No?! Oh well, what if I told you that he was the MAIN villain in season 2? ‘Ooooooh him’. Yeah, wtf? Season 3 pissed me off SO much by not answering ANYTHING that happened at the 2nd of Season 2 including this guy. Yes the explain a bit more about Max in the videogame but what the hell? Nobody is going to be playing that by the time the complete 24 box set comes out and when they re-watch the whole show again they will be as annoyed as I am Max (and more importantly the person working for him- Mandy!) don’t show up in the following episodes.
9. Audrey Raines- Seasons 4-6
Yeah Jack, you’re a cool guy and all, but I have one question- what do you see in this woman? Really, what? She’s just annoying which is odd as her father is awesome and her brother is so cool he shagged Mandy despite being gay, but Audrey is pathetic. Should have stuck with Kate Warner imo.
8. Lynn McGill- Season 5
It’s Sean Astin from Lord of the Rings and The Goonies! Awesome! Wow, he just figured out Jack’s codeword and saved the day, man he rules! Wait…. What the hell, his sister has a drug habit? Oh crap, tell me this isn’t going to be important….oh dear he just got his CTU pass stolen which will lead to CTU being gassed. He could have stopped this but he was too embarrassed to tell anyone.…. Damn this guy is a loser.
7. Morris O’Brian- Seasons 5-7
I nearly had Nadia here as I didn’t like her much either. Miles was annoying too, but his role in Season 1 saved him, but Morris sucked. I felt sorry for him when he was forced to give the nuke detonation codes away but a whole year about his alcohol problem- really? Was that needed?
6. Brady Hauser- Season 6
I forgot about this guy until making this list. Here he is.
It was the autistic man that Jack uses in a sting operation. The whole storyline never sat well with me for some reason.
5. Vice President Noah Daniels- Season 6
What the hell was wrong with him? He was so gung-ho he reminded me of the fat Texan from the Simpsons. “Let’s go to war! Yee-hah!” The actor was constantly chewing up the scenery too (not literally). I just didn’t find him at all believable. Actually I can kind of imagine George Bush being like him when he isn’t on TV, which is kinda scary.
4. The New Bauer Family- Season 6
24 Season 5 never happened. Instead we got 24 episodes of The Bauer Bunch. Jack’s brother is revealed to be the terrorist behind Season’s 5 attacks, okay that’s quite cool But here’s Jack’s Dad, James Cromwell. Well that’s cool I suppose….. I mean it’s not as if Kiefer Sutherland’s father is an actor as that would have been ideal…… Oh look here is Jack’s sister-in-law who once had an affair with Jack….wow that’s awkward and here is Jack’s nephew, who is probably Jack’s son actually, but that’s never confirmed. EVERY time before in 24 whenever they have brought in an established character’s family it’s been shit. Here they brought in an entire family, Jack’s family none-the-less and it was god awful.
3. Erin Driscoll- Season 4
Ugh. The Adventures of Erin Driscoll and her psychotic daughter were the stuff of nightmares.
2. Sandra Palmer- Season 6
Ah, remember the sister of Wayne and David Palmer? Don’t worry, the writers don’t either and they stopped writing for her character with no explanation as to what happened to her.
1. Kim Bauer- Seasons 1-3, 5
It’s 24’s version of Claire Bennett! 24 Season 2 is the best season by far IF (and this is a huge fucking ‘if’), IF you ignore EVERY SINGLE Kim Bauer scene. She was terrible in Seasons 3 and 5 too in addition to the 2nd half of season 1. I am going to stop now because I am getting angry just thinking about her being locked in a bomb shelter, trapped in a store robbery, arrested by the police, being chased by an abusive father/husband and being attacked by a cougar (wait the image of Kim Bauer being eaten is great)…. Oh and all that happened in season 2 and season 2 alone…
6/10 of my worst characters appeared in Season 6. Seems about right. Anyway who is your favourite/worst characters?
