So, the road to Wrestle Mania takes a pit stop known as No Way Out. With NYR gone from the ppv list it seems this ppv takes the place of where my favorite match the Elimination Chamber match occurs. December to Dismember almost ruined this match but thankfully NWO has attempted to restore this match to it's glory day's where RVD was frog splashing off the top and Goldberg was spearing people threw the glass door. At last No Way Out, wwe decided to add two elimination chamber matches to the card instead of one. Each, a winner receives a shot at the title type match. Now, wwe has decided to one up what it did last year and make it for the wwe and world title. So now instead of having some main events and some mid carders, these matches will have the best people raw and smackdown making these two matches amazing and totally ruining the rest of the card. lol. Anyway the card as it stands today...
Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Championship John Cena (c) vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Jericho vs. TBD vs. TBD
Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship Edge (c) vs. TBD vs. TBD vs. TBD vs. TBD vs. TBD
Punk lost his qualifying match so he won’t be in it but oh well. The world title one looks pretty intense so far. Glad Kofi is in it instead of Kane adding a fast pace to this match. Don’t know who will fill the rest of the world title one but for the wwe probably HHH will be in it.
So yeah, what does everyone this about this ppv? Does anyone care?

I am disappointed with the SD match. It features everybody you'd expect it to be part of it.
SPOILER
Edge vs Jeff vs HHH vs Kozlov vs Big Show vs Undertaker. 3 of them were in the Chamber last year... in fact all bar Big Show and Kozlov have competed in one of these before.
The Raw match looks much more interesting with Kofi getting the random Kendrick title match push. This one will be worth watching just for Rey and Kofi alone. I don't know what they will do in this time of match but it's sure going to be fun finding out. Then you add Cena and it looks even better. Then you have Y2J too!! The problem with this match is that Chris is the only believable guy who could take the title...but sadly he won't as he will wrestle Mickey, fucking, Rouke at Mania. We don't know who the final two will be but I expect to see Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase.
Tbh I am much more excited about the non-EC matches. JBL vs HBK should take place here and could be a good feud-ender. Orton vs Shane, assuming it's given a hardcore stipulation, could be fantastic. I'm not sure about the Hardy/Helms or Swagger/Finlay ones, but we'll see what happens.

So as expected Orton vs Shane O'Mac has been added to the NWO card in a no holds barred match. Or a street fight to most people. This could be fun *has good memories of Shane/Angle.*
Also JBL will fight HBK in what could be the blow-off to their feud leaving HBK free to fight HBK at Mania.
Lastly the Raw's Chamber match will now be Cena vs Y2J vs Rey vs Kofi vs.... Mike Knox(!) and...Kane!
It doesn't look like a classic as Cena is a dead cert to win but there could be some fun spots with Knox and Kane destroying Kofi and Kane.

leaving HBK free to fight HBK at Mania. Oh god, kane vs Kane was bad enough at Vengence 06. Now we will have hbk vs hbk @ mania? with Knox and Kane destroying Kofi and Kane. I'd pay to see Kane destroy Kane

I heard the stipulation for the HBK vs JBL match is if HBK wins he is free from JBL, but if he loses then HBK will be contracted with JBL for the rest of his life.

I hope they do a swerve and have HBK lose. Then the only way out is for him to retire, what a day that would be. I'm already foaming at the mouth with that thought.
I think the chamber matches imo look shit. Both title holders will win here and I now believe they are holding off Christians debut until WM. It'd made sense. I Think the only thing worth watching NWO for is the Street Fight between Shane and Orton. IF Shane is involved you're pretty much promised something worth watching.

Swagger vs Finlay for the ECW title has now been added. It could be alright.

I think the chamber matches imo look shit. Both title holders will win here Maybe we should've bet huh? Neither champs retained their titles. Well Edge won the world title after losing the wwe title. Yup HHH is the new wwe champ. After Edge lost to HHH in the first match of the night he took out Kofi and put himself in the world title chamber. He won and it was a pretty shocking night. Not only did Knoxville get owned hard here but now Mania matches are up in the air. Clearly is can't be HHH vs Edge since they are both champs right? And now where does Orton fit in all of this? Thoughts?

Excellent, excellent show all round. The first chamber match was a shock, as I believed it looked the strongest on paper and should have been the main event. But what a match it was. The first shock was Edge being eliminated so early, and the second shock was how good Kozlov was. He and Big Show competing against each other using Jeff as a rag doll was very entertaining. Great face off between HHH and Taker, and I am glad HHH won in the end.
Randy and Shane had the exciting brawl I had envisioned, and the monitor shot on Orton's head looked really vicious. I liked how Little Ted and Little Dust came down and got their asses owned while Randy recovered. Another great match.
The grudge match was a typical HBK vehicle, yeilding few surprises, but still hugely entertaining due to the heat on JBL. The only downside was the constant camera attention on HBK's wife. Quite unnecessary imo.
The ECW match was painfully short and insignificant as always, but Finlay put in a fine performance to make the match better than the sum of it's parts. I do however think Swagger is an extremely faceless character and a poor choice for champion. Watch me eat those words in three years when he is the company's top star!
The main event looked terrible on paper, but immediately looked far better once Edge took out Kofi and injected himself into the match, instilling instant heel heat upon him from Rey and Cena. The way Cena was eliminated was fantastic. It was almost as if he said "if I'm gonna job, I'll job to not one, but three finishers!" It was a great sequence.
I'm glad Edge won, as I was gutted he got eliminated so early from the first match, and I happen to think he has been very entertaining these past few weeks. I just wish he would kick the trollop to the kerb...
So where this leaves WrestleMania is anyone's guess, but if it were up to me, I 'd have both belts on Smackdown, and the onus on the Raw superstars to get their title back, thus creating a workable crossover angle. I'd also have HHH and Edge enter into some sort of partnership whereby they gloat about having both titles and Raw has none, and constantly antagonise the Raw guys. I reckon they could be quite funny together.
As far as Orton goes, well he took out Shane so really this McMahon angle can't go anywhere else from here, having taken out Vince earlier. The only mileage I can see is if Vince were to bring in a massive name to take out Randy and uphold the family's honour. But who would fight in the name of the McMahon's? Well, they have for many years skirted around the idea that Steph is married to HHH, so maybe this is the time to make it official as such, and have Hunter become Vince's voice in the ring.
So another HHH v Orton program could work, with the added angle that HHH is now part of the family, and so now it is personal.
But overall, No Way Out was the best show I've seen from WWE in quite some time. The card looked very strong on paper, and delivered in spades as far as I am concerned. If they keep this level of quality up then I am afraid TNA quite literally has "no chance in hell..."

So the point of Jeff losing at the Rumble was?...
I didn't see the PPV, but this reeks of HHH's politics again. He should be nowhere NEAR the Wrestlemania main event. He's not good enough and nobody gives a damn about him. It's like HHH went up to Vince a few weeks ago and said "Vince, this Wrestlemania line up has me not in the main event. You need to correct it."
Yeah HHH will feud with Orton now, they made that clear last week on Raw when Steph was speaking to someone- HHH- on the phone. Obviously HHH wants to face the top heel in the company, regardless if it fucks everything up. That means HHH will come to Raw and attack Orton and then Randy will choose to go after his title I assume. I think the whole thing is a ploy by Steph though, she's 3rd or 4th generation herself and she'll end up betraying HHH and leading the legacy and with Vince and Shane out she will rule the WWE (like she hasn't been doing that for years already).
I don't know where this leaves Cena, but maybe Vs. Edge which we've seen so many times before. I feel like Kofi got fucked by all this, this was a chance for him to show what he could do on the big stage.

I don't like Kofi, and was glad when Edge smashed his face in with a chair on the steel steps to claim his spot in the main event.

If anybody still wants to see No Way Out and watch the excellent Elimination Chamber matches (which like Metal I recommend) here is a link so some guy's 'myvideo' webpage with the entire PPV on.
