2009 Oscars

Here is a list of the Oscar nominations.

I couldn't see Best Film on that list so I assume tht's announced later.

Slumdog Millionaire and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button got the most nominations with Milk and The Dark Knight doing well too.

Micky Rourke was got a nomination for The Wrestler as has Marisa Tomei. Kate Winselt wasn't nominated for Best Supporting Actress so can't do the double again, but could win her first oscar for Best Actress.

Heath Ledger is nominated for Best Supoorting Actor as is Robert Downey Jr for his role as a dude playing a dude playing another dude in Tropic Thunder.


So how do you want/think will win and what films will be nominated for Best Picture?

I would be happy if Heath Ledger or Robert Downey, Jr. won in Best Supporting Actor. Downey, Jr. probably has no shot though.

I can't really comment on anything else, as I haven't seen many of the movies, though The Curious Case of Benjamin Button looked like it could either be really good or really pretentious.

I haven't seen any of these movies nor have I heard of half of them. I would’ve see Button if it wasn't 3 fucking hours long...
