Childhood Scary Film Moments

Okay I was talking to one of my old school mates about film moments that scared us when we were young and it was an amusing conversation, so I thought I'd ask you too. What moments from TV, or film that scared you!

Here are my top- or should that be worst?- moments in film that had me hiding behind the sofa! By the way these moments should be from kids films so no actual horror movie moments are allowed!

My mate suggested the death of Bambi's mum, but was a good pick, but these 3 are better!

3. The Return to Oz
I thought the flying monkeys from The Wizard of Oz were scary- but they were nothing compared to the Wheelers! These scary people had wheels instead of hands and feet and horrible faces! I really can't do these scary things justice in words.

2. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
The child catcher! What the hell?! This was a funny enjoyable child romp and then suddenly in creeps this awful effeminate man with a giant nose who lures kids into his 'ice cream' truck only to reveal it's a prison and lock them away in a dungeon. The fact he has a ballet-ish way of moving is even scarier. Horrible.

1. Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
This film should never have been a PG! It's far to violent, far too many sexual references and, above all, far FAR too scary for children! There are two scenes that scared me. 1) When Christopher Lloyd gets run down by the steam roller but even better than that is my number one moment. 1 Shoe + 1 can of 'Dip' = nightmares forever!

It's seriously god damn awful!

The scene at the beginning where Daffy and Donald are having a piano duel, I'm positive Donald calls Daffy a "God-damn stupid n****r!"

Haha yeah, I've heard that before- Donald always says that though, so it's untrue. It's one of those myths that goes around like the one frame of porn put into the Rescuers- however that one IS true!
