So this Sunday sees the final race of what has been a fantastic season in F1, the best I can recall in years...actually last year was pretty decent too but whatever.
The season has seen lots of different people win races- Kimi, Alonso, Kubica (his and BMW's first win), Kovalinen (his first) Vettel (wtf?!!?! AMAZING! Torro Ross is an incredible car all of a sudden!) and of course Hamilton and Massa.
But it's all down to the wire between Massa and Hamilton as to who will win. Hamilton is 7 points clear I think despite the corrupt FIA practically giving Massa the title, but Lewis did choke in the final two races last season.
So can he do it?! It's sure going to be a nail-biting final race!

Yes, I am sure he can. But only if Timo Glock moves over on the last band and lets him through.
I wonder how much Glock had riding on Lewis winning the title... The mind races (pun intended).

Oh. My. God.
That has to be the greatest sporting moment ever!
5 Laps to go Hamilton is 4th, Vettel is just behind him, but that doesn't matter as 5th will do.
Damn, rain. Massa, Alonso and Kimi in to go to wets. Hamilton and Vettel pit at the same time! Can Hamilton stay in front of Vettel?! Yes, phew. Wait wtf, Glock hasn't pitted and is now in 4th- is he crazy?! It's far too wet surely?! Now Hamilton is 5th and must keep Vettel behind him.
2 Laps to go. Oh looks like Glock is doing fine on those dry tires. Oh look Kubica is STILL just behind Vettell. He's been on the same pace as him and Hamilton for ages now, too bad he's a lap down and won't interfere with the end of the race. WTF?! He overtook Vettel? Is he allowed to do that?! Oh it's cool though as it helps Hamilton be separating him from Vettell. WTF Kubica just got past Hamilton?! Hamilton has run wide after being distracted by Kubica (wtf you playing at Robert!) and Vettel has got past! Noooooo!!!!
Massa wins! Alonso is 2nd, Kimi is 3rd. NO, NO, NO!!! Hamilton can't catch Vettel!
2 corners to go!!! He's 5th still, wait that car was red and white that Vettel just overtook....must have been Truli right?! NO IT'S GLOCK!!! HAMILTON'S DONE HIM TOO! GLOCK CAN BARELY KEEP THE CAR ON THE ROAD! 4TH PLACE! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!! Wait wtf, Massa's dad is celebrating......oh he just saw the result and is now distraught. LMAO. Aww bless him.
Well done Lewis! The better man won! That has to be the most gripping sporting moment I have seen in my life. I thought Vettel (and Kubica) had handed the title to Massa but Glock's tires just gave up on him in the end. You could see him skidding all over the place as Hamilton overtook him.
A fantastic race. I so wish I had recorded it.

Yes it was a superb finish and a splendid result in the end. Lewis fully deserves it but how jammy was he that Glock fucked up right at the end? I also LMAOed when Massa's dad's face dropped as that guy stuck his head in and told him Lewis finished fifth. It was pretty priceless!
My heart was in my mouth as Vittel passed him with two laps to go and almost switched off in disgust. Maybe my spider senses told me someone would do the job and "make a mistake".
Great race, great result and a great champion. I reckon Massa won a lot of fans today though by being a class act in defeat.

Oh yeah Massa is a class act and a great guy no doubt about it. If it was Kimi or Alonso in his shoes it would have been even better as they both act like jerks, but you have to feel for poor Massa. Hopefully his time will come.
You also have to feel for poor DC. That's not the way you want to end your career on the first corner. At least he did a very honurable thing and raised money for charity.
I'm looking forwards to see who will be joining what teams next year I've heard some bitter Ferrari fans saying that Glock will be at McClaren next year lol.
edit: Okay the only change I could see is that Vettel has joined Red Bull. That sucks. Torro Rosso are so much better.

This for me was the best part of the race. I really hate Ferrari and that whole "We've won!!... oh... wait" moment was worth the two hours of what was essentially a boring race.
Apparently Vettel didnt realise he was changing the result of the championship, he admitted afterwards that he hadnt been paying attention to his pit board, bless. I give him the benefit of the doubt as a few weeks ago he said (of being given a penalty for blocking Massa even though Vettel had the right of way) "Oh, I didnt realise it was a Ferrari, I should have rolled out the red carpet".

Haha, yeah Vettel got screwed there. It was Massa's fault! When it came up that the incident was under investigation everybody was like "Ahhh, looks like Massa will be getting the penalty." Then it turned out to be Vettel? Wtf!? I still can't believe he is going to Red Bull....I really hope he won't regret that move but it just screams "Villeneuve to BAR" or "Hill to Arrows" type mistake to me. Not that Red Bull were quite as bad as either of those teams at the time or that Torro Rosso are as good as the Williams Renault but still.
Yeah Kel I too HATE Ferrari. They are the least sporting sports team ever. I was watching the 2005 US Grand Prix yesterday. You know the one where all the Michelin teams weren't allowed to race and Jordon and Mindardi (two of the three Bridgestone teams) agreed for there to be a chicane so they could all race. All the teams agreed apart from, yes you guessed it- Ferrari who knew that with no Williams, Mclaren, Toyota or Renault out they would get an easy 18 points. Hence only 6 cars raced and the fans rightly rioted.
Another time was in Austria 2002 which was only about 8 races, probably even less, into the season and Ferrari were looking good with Barrichello (who I do like) and Schumacher 1st and 2nd. Then on the final straight Rubens was told to let Michael win. Once again the fans were livid while Michael (probably pretending) was pissed off and let Rubens stand on top of the podium.
Michael in general was always trying to cheat it seemed. Crashing his car in the last race of the year while leading Hill by 1 point in the championship and in the end deciding to crash into him so they'd both retire. Trying to ram Jack Villeneuve off the road only for it to happen to him, who was very angry afterwards. Then there was the time at Monaco he thought "hmmm, if I park my car here on the track, nobody will be able to get passed and complete their laps!"
I think Schumacher is the most overrated driver ever. Yes he out drove his team mates and was good in the rain, but if he had someone like Alonso or Villeneuve as his team mate things may have been harder for him. Who pretty much all his championships came when he was clearly in the best car too. Pfft.
