Okay No Mercy is today! It doesn't look as good as Unforgiven as there is only one must-see match. An amazing match, but just one nevertheless.
Anyway here's my predictions.
Big Show vs Taker
Thoughts: These two have fought lots and it's never pretty.
Prediction: Pfft I dunno. Very hard to call. If this feud is ending then Taker will win, but I think it's just getting started so I'll say Big Show cheats somehow. He needs the win too.
Women's Title
Beth Phoenix vs Candice Michelle
Thoughts: Could be a good match. It all depends on how good Candice is and if she's lost the ring-rust yet.
Prediction: Beth's been booked very well and Candice hasn't looked good since her return so the winner is Beth
If Rey loses he takes off his mask
Rey vs Kane
Thoughts: Could be a good match. Rey usually has good matches against bigger men and makes it believable that he could win imo.
Prediction: With the silly stip surely Rey's gonna win right? Right? He better...
No.1 Contenders
JBL vs Batty
Thoughts: Should be a horrible match. JBL sucks and Batty can't carry him.
Prediction: Batty wins and gets ANOTHER title shot.
ECW Title
Matt Hardy vs Henry
Thoughts: Might be alright. Hardy's good and Henry has improved lots. Can't be worse than their SSlam match...
Prediction: Hardy will win and then feud with Chavo, Miz or Morrison.
WWE Title
HHH vs Jeff
Thoughts: Poor Jeff has NO CHANCE. Kozlov will interfere somehow and then feud with one or both of these men.
Prediction: HUNTOR jobs Jeff.
World Title
Ladder Match
Y2J vs HBK
Thoughts: Wow. Could be MOTY. Both have great pedigrees in these matches, which is my only complaint as we will likely see old spots such as the elbow from the ladder and the Walls of Jericho on the ladder etc.
Prediction: Hopefully Y2J wins he's getting great heel heat and it would be silly to take the belt off him....who knows though, maybe Punk will run out and grab the belt? Hopefully this feud aint done yet, maybe Batty will make it a triple threat at SSeries? Or maybe they'll save another Y2J/HBK match for the Rumble or Mania?
