Okay this is another article I thought I'd do every month. I'll be listing the top 20 wrestlers that have entertained over the last month. Anyway here goes;
20. Booker T
If only for that accent. Booker is great when he plays a comic role and has made me laugh a lot.
19. Ted Dibiase
Ted Jr. has impressed me with his tag team work and the alignment with Randy Orton should make good TV over the next few months.
18. Cody Rhodes
See Ted Jr.
17.
Vladimir Kozlov
He's quite entertaining at the moment and keeps kicking the crap out of HHH.
16. Randy Orton
I hate him. Well at least I did. His promos have been great and show that he is truly the no.1 heel in the company. His upcoming feud with Punk should be fantastic and help make Punk into a superstar.
15. The Miz
Here's your chick magnet THE MIZ. The Dirt Sheet is amazing and one of the highlights of the WWE. The Miz makes it on here while John Morrison remains in the 'palace of wisdom' due to the fact Miz had a ECW title match at Unforgiven.
Morrison- be jealous.
14. Jeff Hardy
Jeff's your number 1 contender for the WWE title at No Mercy. That that he has a chance of winning though. He came close to winning at Unforgiven and if he weren't such an idiot he would have won. The situation at the airport doesn't look good though.
13. Evan Bourne
It seems that Evan is now in the midst of a big push and hats off to him. A good month that has seen him keeping his own against Kane, Miz and Morrison amongst others.
12. Shelton Benjamin
Shelton has always had the in-ring talent, but this month has seen him improve his mic skills. Also he had a very good match with HHH that he came close to winning, bu didn't. That's about as close as anyone can come to beating HHH these days.
11. Samoa Joe
Not a great month for the TNA Champ. He hasn't been portrayed very well, and his PPV win was down to Jeff Jarrett than him. His promos have been pretty good however.
10. Kurt Angle
I hate him. Crazy Kurt is oh so annoying these days, but over the last month he has helped elevate the fantastic TNA vs Veterans feud with his awesome mic skills. Plus she did a shoot on the crappy TNA booking which was justified imo.
9. Santino Marella
If sports entertainment is all about entertainment then Santino is the people's champ. Not a great wrestler but an AMAZING character. This month saw the debut of the Honky-Meter which could help restore some pride to the IC belt.
8. AJ Styles
Imo Styles is the best wrestler in the world so I have no idea why TNA bogged him down with that silly MMA stuff. The Styles-Cage stuff is fun and building to a potential feud.
7. C.M Punk
Well he may have lost the title, but his main event push isn't ending any time soon. Well yeah he is now going for the tag team titles, but that makes perfect sense to me. Once he's done with Simply Priceless Orton should be next on his hit list and that could elevate Punk into a permanent main eventer.
6. Christian Cage
His TNA days may soon be over but that's not stopping Cage from having great matches and even better promos. The one just before Against All Odds where he said that the PPV was just 1 hour from where he grew up as the best I have seen from him.
5. Matt Hardy
I am not a big Hardy fan these days and feel that he is very, very bland. That hasn't stopped him getting massively over however and this month he may have won his first world title....if the ECW title counts. Hopefully he will go on to have great feuds with Morrison, Miz and maybe Jeff- that'd be off the charts.
4. Shawn Michaels
One half of the feud of the year. 08 has been a fantasic year for HBK and September wasn't bad for him either. The feud with Y2J became very personal and they put on MOTN with each other despite Shawn's injury.
3. Brian Kendrick
Now your eyes don't deceive you. THE Brian amazed me when he qualified for the Unforgiven title scramble and then did it again by scoring a pinfall. Not only that but he dominated the match making Jeff, MVP and Shelton all look like jobbers before HHH came out and buried him like the insecure little shit that Hunter is.
2. Sting
Again your eyes aren't playing tricks on you. I don't like Sting much and I don't think he had a single match in September....which makes it even more confusing how he was named No.1 contender for BFG....but every week he seemed to steal the show by giving the best promos I have ever heard from him and was really made the big TNA feud work.
1. Chris Jericho
Well it had to be really. Y2J has perhaps been wrestler of the year and the feud with HBK is still raging on. Factor into that he won the World Title- without even being booked into the match. Then he had a decent cage match with Punk too. Looking forward to the ladder match this Sunday too.
