I was wondering if anybody watches this at all. It was shown over here on ITV the summer just gone and I was going to watch it (mainly due to the fact I love Anna Friel), but I missed he first episode so gave it a miss until I recently saw it on Virgin Media's 'TV Choice On Demand' and decided to watch it at last.
Well long story short- it's great! After watching the 4 episodes that are on Virgin media I went on the net and found a site that allowed me to watch the other 5 episodes (only 9 were made due to the greedy writing dick-heads). It's a wonderful show that just looks incredible in a Tim Burton kinda way and the black comedy is played to perfection. I wholeheartedly recommend it and I can't wait for season 2 that starts soon.
So anyone watch it? If not, you really should.

Sorry woo, apparently not enough stay at home mothers are watching this and this show is in danger of being canceled due to poor ratings...

US TV stations are shit. All the best shows get cancelled. If that happened over here people wouldn't stand for it. It's disgusting really how they can just piss on viewers like this. Obviously the show is too clever for it's own good.

I saw the premiere whilst in Holland and thought it was alright, but in my opinion it didn't really compare to Dead Like Me, which is a another black comedy about death that I fell in love with.

Well yeah, that was another show that got cancelled unjustly too. As was Firefly and Arrested Development, the latter much like PD won TV awards.
It's even worse when they cancel long-running shows without even allowing them to have a proper ending ala' Veronica Mars. There really isn't any point watching TV series in their first two years really as they could be axed anytime to make way for American remakes of gameshows or talent contests.
I guess the advantage of our TV system is that since we fund it we have a say as to what happens.
I am really angry. Why can't shit dramas like One Tree Hill or The Hills get cut? Why do people watch that shit?!

Because those shit shows are on shit channels which have a lot more shit on them, thus they are the cream (read: shit) of the crop.

Because the writing is fantastic, the way it's filmed is incredibly artistic and vibrant. There's nothing out there that looks as good as this from a purely aesthetic perspective. The characters are incredibly well developed. The two leads have fantastic chemistry with one another, despite the fact they can't ever touch and the supporting cast are equally as endearing. And above all the show is hilarious the way Ned 'kills' his patients is dark humor at it's finest.

Okay...
Well I thought it sucked and plus the day after the first episode aired here a woman came into work and asked me if she could have "pushing up daises" on DVD. I told her that she was too early and it hasn't had got a release date yet, she screamed at me saying that it had been on TV so it must be out on dvd. Stupid people.

That's a very logical reason to hate a show, sir.

Maybe watching Pushing Daisies isn't the worst thing to watch to test your manhood. I mean it could be worse; you could be a fan of Desperate Housewives...

Another fantastically written black comedy.
It could be worse, I could be a fan of the OC.
