I was thinking back to PS's heyday and the amount of posters (and their alts!!) we used to have and I wondered why numbers have declined to the hardcore few of us that are left?
Is it because we lost the .net name and now people struggle to find us?
Because we went to proboards?
Because everyone stopped watching wrestling?
Because we (read-woo) systematically drove away all weirdos and drama queens leaving us with just us relatively normal posters?
Because the efed closed?
Any thoughts?

There was something about the old layout which I found endearing... and who doesn't miss Scorpina? If you want the sad truth, I think it's because we've all moved on and grown up. I look back on the old PS and remember how excited I'd be to come and spend the evening posting with you fine people (sad I know). There hasn't ever been a forum that I've felt so fondly of, but I think our best days are behind us and it is very sad. I'm in Plymouth for the next three days though, if anyone wants to meet up I'm staying at the Future Inn. ;D

To be honest, since .net died I think people have struggled to find us. Proboards is so diverse that it's stupidly hard to find us. That and people probably dont think this would be us. But then we got so low in members towards the end that it didn't make much of difference.
I think the Efed impacted us too.

Yeah, recovered. Great day though. One of my best mates has the same birthday so we went pretty large.

I think I was getting low on the posting even before the loss of ".net". But the change in boards and the color scheme are no where near as attractive as the old board. And since I don't post as much as I used to at all (growing up and away), I reserve my major posting to the first board that I ever posted at. It was from that board that I followed e-friends to minor boards and subsequently to the original powerslam board. Whatever there is to rekindle, I attempt to rekindle it through that board.
