Okay clearly I am the only one who will be watching this (hopefully anyway as my mate is meant to be taping it!) and I am very excited to see what goes down as this card looks very good.
Here are the matches, my thoughts and my predictions.
World Tag Team Championship
Simply Priceless vs Cryme Tyme
www.wwe.com/content/media/images/3883682/7939396Thoughts- Wow an actual tag team match with two actual tag teams. This could be a good fun match- Cryme Tyme aren't amazing but are a solid team and Simply Priceless, Cody Rhodes in particular, have a lot of potential.
Prediction- Simply Priceless have been very good since winning the belts and aside from the stupid loss of the titles to Cena and Batty look like they will dominate the division. Factor in the fact it seems as though they may be forming an awesome stable with Randy Orton soon and it should be a no brainer-
Simply Priceless win with some underhand tactics.
Divas Championship
Michelle McCool vs Mayse
www.wwe.com/content/media/images/3883682/7985652Thoughts- Wow Mayse looks hot on that banner. I think the WWE making a 2nd Woman's Div is a mistake, though it does show signs that they are taking women's wrestling seriously. The match probably won't be the best as Mayse isn't very good yet and Michelle is just above average. I am surprised they didn't put a Womens Championship match on this PPV instead, though they are probably trying to give the Divas title credibility. They could have given the belt more credibility by giving it a better name, though it's no worse than the Knockout Championship I guess.
Prediction- Like I said Mayse is still green and they are trying to make the belt mean something so all signs are pointing to
McCool retaining. Plus she is currently sleeping in Undertaker's casket at nights, which is pretty much how she won the title in the first place.
Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho
www.wwe.com/content/media/images/3883682/7952556Thoughts- Wow this has been feud of the year by far. Best feud in years actually. Both HBK and Y2J have been amazing in their roles and the promos have been perfect. This could been an amazing classic and still could in spite of HBK's cruelly timed injury.
Prediction- Before the injury to Shawn I thought HBK would pick up the win and Y2J would sadly go back to midcarding, but now I reckon Y2J will win and go on to fight for the world title while HBK sits a couple of months out with the injury.
ECW Championship
Scramble Match
Mark Henry (c) vs Matt Hardy vs Chavo Guerrero vs Fit Finlay vs The Miz
www.wwe.com/content/media/images/3883682/7938564Thoughts- Well first of all wtf is Henry doing with that belt?! Okay now with that out of the way wtf is John Morrison not in this match? Chavo and Finlay in and not the Shamen of Sexy?! Pah!! It could be a good match though as four of these men are good wrestlers (guess which one isn't), though sadly only the Miz is remotely charismatic so while it should be a good match, it might not be a very entertaining one.
Prediction- Okay well Chavo and Finlay have no chance at all. They really should have allowed Morrison in this match as he would have had a realistic chance of winning and it would have been great seeing him and Miz teaming up and then turning on each other. As for the Miz I expect him to look strong here, but he won't win. So it's out of Henry and Hardy. I really want Hardy to win the title in a singles match as it will be more memorable, but surely we won't have all three titles retained, as the other two are dead certs to remain with the champions, will we? Yeah, I reckon
Henry will still be a 'world champion.'World Heavyweight Championship
Scramble Match
CM Punk (c) vs Batista vs JBL vs Kane vs Rey Mysterio

JBL and Kane never had a shot of winning and now neither does Rey either. Plus the return of Mysterio completely fucks up the angle with Kane. Kane has been on fire (which is surprisingly given how he hates fire and he generally sucks) for weeks and has been cutting great promos about how he ended Rey's life and career and then out pops Rey Rey fit as can be and ruins everything. Would it have killed them to have put Santino, Regal, Kofi or even better London into this match?
Prediction- Okay looking at the poster two things came to mind- 1. Is Rey STILL wearing Eddie tribute arm bands?! and 2. Batista is taking centre page in the banner, not the champion. Punk's reign has been accused by some of being undermined by the likes of Batty and Cena and that poster doesn't help things. However with Orton sewing the seeds for a Punk/Randy showdown at a later date I reckon

Scramble Match
HHH (c) vs Jeff Hardy vs MVP vs Shelton Benjamin vs THE Brian Kendrick
www.wwe.com/content/media/images/3883682/7925268Thoughts- Okay it seems I was probably reading too much into the whole banner thing for the last match. Now this is the reason why I am wanting to watch this PPV. 4 incredible wrestlers and HHH in a 20 minute match with a world title on the line, amazing.
Prediction- Okay Brian is only here to make up the number but what a push this could be for hm. I think he will look pretty strong in this match too. MVP is in the dog house at the moment for not wrestling as good as Shelton (come on, NOBODY in the WWE wrestles as good as him!) and for making fun of one of the drug testers backstage and I think he may be the one who gains the least from this match- which is a shame as he has the most potential out of the 3 heels as an all-round main eventer. As you all know I LOVE Shelton and think that he is only one manager away from winning a world championship, but tonight is not going to be his night.
Now for Jeff Hardy...what can be said about him? Like Ken Kennedy and Orton to a much lesser degree every time he gets to the cusp of main eventing he goes and fucks it up. I think he may be on the verge of winning the belt here though only for HHH to pin him with a few seconds to go. (Or having Jeff pin him only for the time to expire before the 3 count.) Of course HHH will probably go the whole match unpinned and job everyone else out completly-
either way HHH will win.Okay that's that. I don't reckon any of the world titles will change hand- the ECW one might though- but I said World titles, that don't count. However it could be a very good PPV with the SD and Raw main events being very good and Y2J vs HBK out of this world.
