I'm bored, so for those that celebrate (so everyone besides woo i think) answer some questions for me
Do you have your christmas shopping finished yet? Are you not even started? or somewhere in between? And when are you putting up your tree - or do you already have it up? When will you take it down?
I'm about 3/4 done my shopping - still have a few people to get things for, and want to get some more stuff for Jeff and Jade.
We're putting our tree up tomorrow - we always do it on the day of the Santa Claus Parade here, which is the first Saturday in December. And we'll probably leave it up until Jan 6 - Old Christmas Day.

Tree goes up tomorrow, I'm working a pig of a shift so I'm hoping my uncle does it.
Christmas shopping... I haven't bought anything for anyone else other than my gf (and because postage would be to high to send pressies to the UK) and that present for her is a flight here so she can spend xmas with me, yay!

The wife has supposedly bought presents for 90 percent of the people that are due presents. I have no bought her anything yet (have to wait until I get a break). Apparently, I am not to be trusted with picking out presents for the boy--something about dangerous and careless....meh, I wasn't listening.
The tree is going up Saturday (as are the stupid lights outside). I assume that we are going somewhere for Christmas and I will be told what a good time I will have.

Haven't even started shopping yet. Probably in a couple of weeks. Yeah yeah. I'm a last minute shopper. But there's something about standing in long lines to check out and fighting people for a parking spot that intrigues me.

Well the tree went up last night and involved me making not one but two trips to asda for lights (we've moved house since last Christmas and no-one can remember where the frickin lights are...) i bought a nice pack from asda, only to get home and realise that there was no transformer with them. So I went back to get them swapped... and the second pack had two transformers in it...
It wasnt until we put the tree up that we realised that we dont know where the other decorations are, so the tree is up, lit and tinseled, but no streamers as yet.
I dont know why I put "we put the tree up" as (with every year) Kris sat on his fat ass giving directions but not actually helping...

I dont know why I put "we put the tree up" as (with every year) Kris sat on his fat ass giving directions but not actually helping... i'd prefer it that way, Jeff and I have different ways of decorating, and I always find myself moving around things that he puts on the tree. So I try get him to put stuff up around the house, so I can do the tree my way.
