I have no decided that the ECW title doesn't count and that we can erase Chavo, Morrison, Lashley and Mark Henry *spits* from the record books, but Punk has now won the big one. Amazing! |

Yeah I didn't find out about this till last week so I downloaded the whole episode where he won! Then I found out he kept his title against Batista at GAB. Hopefully they'll keep the strap on him for a while, although I have heard that they aren't treating him like the top guy on Raw.

Yeah, I am worried myself as to how long he will hold onto the gold. I think that if the fans continue to get behind him they will be forced to keep him in the title picture or there abouts.
For me Batista, Cena and Orton bring about a big sense of "been there, done that, refused to buy the t-shirt." *Points to his CM Punk shirt*. I think if they kept Punk in that role longer it would benefit everyone. As a face he can feud with Y2J, Orton and JBL and he could even turn heel as a champ using his "I'm drug free and better than you" gimmick and be such a prick that the fans will literally be begging for Batty, Cena or HBK to take the title away from him.
But let's see what happens...
