Seriously, lets cut the crap. Yes, we have a "beef" about the confrontation about the Efed thing. But im saying this out of respect, and im speaking the truth... You all are wasting your time on this site! 5 staff members and 1 reg member. Lets be serious, this site is dead, and the only part that is active is the PowerSlam lounge. So im extending an invitation back to BXW(No longer referred to as BWF) Even though BXW isnt the best site, its kind of sad to see 6 brilliant minds go to waste. So hey, you can come or you can ignore me. But i didnt want this offer to pass me by, or most importantly you by. So hopefully, you all come. And you all can help get BXW to the top. There is no beef with you guys. And so what if we're small? We've done the 100s of members in our previous incarnation and tbh, we like it like this.
I wont be coming over to bwf, not because I have issues with you or anything, just that I use this site as a way to keep in touch with my interweb friends, nothing else.
Some people from here might come by to see you and I expect that they will be nothing but courteous.

Yeah thanks for the offer but no thanks. We like the set up we got here, yes it's small but it's nice. I'll think you will find all the other people who post here will say the exact same thing.
The site isn't dead, we've just had problems in the last few weeks with the efed which will no doubt soon be resolved. Usually the site is active, you've just picked a good time to jump on and get noticed.

Yeah basically I don't really wanna be one of hundreds of people all scrambling to get noticed and get one over on each other etc.
What Knoxville and Electra said is the way I see it also.
We are only a small community and, granted, it has been rather barren recently, but all it takes is one good question or idea (usually by Woo) and the buzz here starts anew.
Maybe there are only half a dozen regular posters here, but we all know and respect each other enough to know each other's boundaries. We also know which buttons to press to get a friendly bite out of one another, if we ever feel that way inclined.
I'm under no illusions about how (un)popular our small community is. Like the others. I like it this way.
Just because we don't post dozens of times a day doesn't mean we don't visit and read what each other has to say. I check in here every day just to see what's new (usually very little, admittedly), but occasionally something will interest me enough to want to get involved in a topic.
I gotta say this though, wrestling is probably the least thing of interest to me of late, as I find the current scene pretty much a disgrace to be honest.
And I reckon most of the others here put wrestling secondary on their agenda.
I myself am guilty of letting the side down as far as posting goes.
I tried to be interested in the efed, but I just can't get into them. I do however have a lot of respect for those here who put so much time and effort into it for what seems like such a paltry return. And I do (very) occasionally read some of the promos which are genuinely hilarious in many cases.
But as long as those who take part in it get a lot out of it, then that really is all that matters at the end of the day.
Sometimes when the mood takes me, I'll write with passion about something.
But that usually spells the end of said particular thread.
Yes, I am guilty of threadicide on more than one occasion.
I like to think it's because I say just what everyone else is thinking about saying, hence they have no need to reply.
But I know that's not true :-p
So yeah, thanks for the invite but I'd rather stey where I know I'm not gonna get picked apart like a dissected caterpillar by some obnoxious 13 year old who reckons he's the next Bill Apter.
But seriously I hope you do get some members from here over to yours, but truthfully, they would be more of a loss to Powerslam than a gain for BXW.
Just telling it like I see it. Sometimes less is more, and wrestling by name doesn't always have to be wrestling by nature.
I love my small poxy circle of friends - right here on PowerSlam.

I really am loving the responses from Kel, Knox and MB. I think it says more about us, having a small and closer-knit board like this because we are infact not "wasting our minds"(i cant believe you said that), we are out doing normal things and having real life experiences that we can, perhaps, catch up on with one and another here and comment upon - even get advice on! I for one, am living my life and moving up my career ladder instead of sitting around on a packed board having an ignored input in an irrelivant topic. Instead, like Kel said, I chose to catch up with my internet chums from time to time and par-take in a fun efed. I like our little board and the post occurance suits me; i would hate to think someone was sitting on here 24/7 instead of getting fresh air and human interaction. ...i went out for drinks after work and am quite drunk also. |

I come through here quasi-regularly these days. Hell, even had the privelege of being accused of being a woo alter by Steala in the chat room. He made a good case, I might add.
Spend most my online time on facebook... but it's nice to stroll through here too. Smell the smells... gaze longingly into the activity.... keeps me grounded.
Amazing that this board can still achieve 'beef' with another.
I generally just don't log in, because I don't have much to say. Somewhat out of the loop I think.
