So at Wrestlemania Kane became ECW World Champion by beating Chavo Guerrero. While some may say that the ECW title shouldn't be classed as a "World championship" while others might say that it isn't, but for the purpose of this thread I am going to count the ECW Title as the WWE's 3rd world title.
Of course Kane already is a former world champion after beating Stone Cold for the belt at KotR 98, however he famously held onto the title for a mere 24 hours before losing it back to the Rattlesnake on Raw the following night. So it's only taken the Big Red Machine 10 years to do it, but he is now a x2 champ!!!
So as I read the Mania results I thought to myself "Kane's now a x2 champ? Cool, he deserves it" but then I thought, well does he? The Kane character has been in the WWE well over 10 years and Glen Jacobs has been in it Stamford for nearly 15 once you factor in his previous gimmicks of Fake Diesel and Dr. Isaac Yankem a further 3 years. But what in that time has he actually accomplished?
Yes he is a x2 world champion, former IC holder and multiple time tag champ. He also holds the records for most eliminations in a rumble and most rumble appearances, but how many great Kane matches can you name? Outside of his historic rumble performance in 2001 and his Mania match against his "brother" at XIV I can't think of anymore.
So when Kane retires how do you guys think he will be remembered- If he will at all?
