According to a report by PWInsider, WWE stopped a plan by TNA to promote themselves by flying a plane over the Citrus Bowl during WrestleMania 24 to promote Impact.
Based on what is known, the company found out about TNA's plan, tracked down the company in question and somehow convinced them not to take off. The company later told TNA they were unable to take off due to weather. However, there were numerous other planes flying over the show promoting other things as well.
TNA sources have admitted that there was some anger internally over being prevented from promoting themselves during the show. It should also be noted that WWE forced a mobile video truck promoting TNA to leave the Amway Arena last night before the Monday Night Raw taping. The driver of the truck was given a refund for the parking fee he paid and told to leave. The driver then moved to another area and was confronted again by WWE staff. This time the driver said he wouldn't move unless told to do so by police.
