Okay the formula one season is back.......I didn't see a single advert for it on ITV but it's back (is it still on ITV?).
After the great season last year I am really looking forward to the 08 season and think it should be very exciting and better still- Hamilton has a great chance of winning.
Here are the results of Saturday's Q' and it's great news for Hamilton fans:
01. Hamilton- McLaren-Mercedes 1:26.714
02. Kubica- BMW Sauber 1:26.869
03. Kovalainen- McLaren-Mercedes 1:27.079
04. Massa- Ferrari 1:27.178
05. Heidfeld- BMW Sauber 1:27.236
06. Trulli- Toyota 1:28.527
07. Rosberg- Williams-Toyota 1:28.687
08. Coulthard- Red Bull-Renault 1:29.041
09. Glock- Toyota 1:29.593
10. Vettel- Toro Rosso-Ferrari No time
11. Barrichello- Honda 1:26.173
12. Alonso- Renault 1:26.188
13. Button- Honda 1:26.259
14. Nakajima- Williams-Toyota 1:26.413
15. Webber- Red Bull-Renault No times
16. Raikkonen- Ferrari No time
17. Fisichella- Force India-Ferrari 1:27.207
18. Bourdais- Toro Rosso-Ferrari 1:27.446
19. Sutil- Force India-Ferrari 1:27.859
20. Sato- Super Aguri-Honda 1:28.208
21. Piquet- Renault 1:28.330
22. Davidson- Super Aguri-Honda 1:29.059
It looks to me like that this year BMW will be in contention with the Ferraris and Mclarens which is good news. The champ though will have to start this race from 16th after a mechanical failure.
It's amusing is how low down whiny bitch Alonso is, great move from Mclaren Fernando. Alonso's new teammate Nelson Piquet Jr. starts 2nd to last so this isn't a great start for Renault. Other new boy Glock is 9th and the always great Trulli is in the top 6th which is good for Toyata.
Hard to tell how good Williams are as Rosberg is high up as usual while Nakajima is down in 14th. Red Bull and Honda seam to be a mid field team again while it looks like Super Aguri, Torro Rossa and new boys Force India will be bring up the rear. Though Vetell managed to get into the top 10 somehow! What a drive that was.
So is anybody watching this race? It's on about 4am here, so I'll be catching the replay. I'm pretty exited about it though.
