Apparently Matt Morgan has been signed to become an AMERICAN GLADIATOR in season two of the new show.

Pretty awesome if you ask me.
Imagine him charging towards you in Powerball. I'd be soiling even before the whistle went.

Basically NBC can take their pick of semi-retired/no-longer-main-eventers from the wrestling world.
I'd love to see Hardcore Holly on there also. And Lashley.

Oh god, imagine trying to knock Rhino off his pedestal during Joust. Or imagine Bob Sapp trying to knock YOU off...

Well I read that Sky in the UK are bringing back Gladiators after the success of the US version. It'd be pretty cool if they went with the direction of using former wrestlers for the roles of Gladiators. Matt Morgan as a Gladiator as awesome though, the ones on the US version are already pretty intimidating.

As for Lashley, I think he's out of his WWE Contract in May and looking likely to go to TNA as Kurt and Booker T are pushing for him to go there.

Yeah I know it's never gonna happen, but Lashley would make an amazing Gladiator.
He could be called Panther, or something.
And Rhino wouldn't have to change his name at all.

I think so, that show was awesome. Wikipedia don't have much info on it, so I cannot find much out.

Yes and he looked like Lashley too. I think he was some american football player or something.

He wasn't one of the classic ones like Hunter, Cobra, Shadow, Warrior, Saracen or Wolf though.
