What is the best GTA Game?

I don't know what it is about that game I didn't like. But looking at my cameos thread, I realized that there are no big movie stars doing the voices! Celeb spotting was one of the best parts in the game as you couldn't believe Dennis Hopper was playing someone who fantasised over sharks and potatoes.

IV just seemed to suck up all the enjoyment out of the PS2 games.

After I hit the second island in GTA IV i had to force myself to finish the game, merely to say i beat the story and could put it on my shelf to forever rest. I don't think I'm going to play another GTA game, the novelty was worn off for me after Vice City. I wasn't too big a fan of San Andreas and i've finally clued in that the franchise just isn't for me.
