Moments:
10. The two annoying new characters in season three that no one liked get buried alive. I’m sorry but I hate those two despite how hot Nikki was. Even though it didn’t really do anything towards advancing the show I put this because their death was one of the coolest ones on the entire show and finally they got rid of them and we can move on in the show.
9. Michael kills Ana Lucia and Libby. For some reason these deaths were shocking and came out of no where. Two main characters in season 2 out of no where get shot and killed by Michael.
8. Ana Lucia shoots and kills Shannon by mistake. This led to a great stare off between Sayid And Ana Lucia.
7. Libby is shown being in the same mental hospital as Hurley despite the fact that she was helping him. This moment for me was just out of the blue and left a pretty good twist in the plot.
6. The mysterious Jacob is reviled. In man behind the curtain we finally see the mysterious Jacob even though it was only for about a second.
5. Hey wtf your not Henry Gale. The end of Lockdown had one of the best cliff hangers in the series. Sayid say’s he wasn’t convinced so he dug up the grave and found the id of Henry Gale who is not Ben.
4. Ben kills all the Dharma initiative people. I thought his flash back in the man behind the curtain was one of the best flashbacks in the series. I mean finally we get some damn answers around here.
3. Charlie gets killed in through the looking glass. I thought Charlie has his ups and downs as a character but his death I thought was pretty sad but none the less the death looked cool as hell.
2. Rescue ie here, oh no wait it’s the others and Sawyer just got shot. Again just another shocking moment. You think it’s rescue but it’s the others that end up taking Walt and destroying the self made raft.
1. The opening of season two where we find out that a man named Desmond has been living in the hatch. Man that was the cliff hanger that left us in season 1. What was in the hatch? Season two opened right away answer that. Apparently a man has been living in their this entire time. Who would’ve seen that coming? I mean this opened up the show and totally took it down a different path introducing the Dharma Initiative. The shock factor plus the impact it put on the series is why I picked this number 1.

I like the bit where "LOST" swooshes onto the screen.

Okay then I'll do it seriously now.
Top 10 Lost Moments
10. The Smoke Monster/Polar Bears. They were introduced very early into the show and gave Lost more than just a "people stuck on an island" feel. The Monster is very scary, even more so now that it killed Eko and the polar bears got a great introduction when Sawyer shot it in episode 2. "Why have you got a gun?" "I thought it might come in handy and guess what?! I shot a bear!"
9. "We have to go back Kate!" The moment that turned the entire show on it's head.
8. The first episode- Has there ever been a better pilot for a show? It must have cost them a small fortune to make it and it paid off.
7. Sawyer cons the guns from everyone- A brilliant con where Sawyer and Charlie played Jack, Locke, Kate and Ana Lucia and even Sun in a complex ploy to retrieve all the guns. This was a stand-out moment for me in series 2. Shame that he ultimately caved as soon as somebody wanted the gun.
6. The Brig- Seeing Locke meet Ben and the Others came had some great moments and dialogue between the series' two most enigmatic characters, but it was when Locke met his father that things really took off....well when Sawyer met him anyway. I read that a lot of people guessed that Locke's dad conned Sawyer's mum, but I never even thought about it until this episode and it was one of those moments where everything clicked into place. The bit where Locke's dad ripped up Sawyer's letter was a real "oh my god..." moment as you knew James was going to kick off.
5. The Other 48 Days- We meet the talies at the start of Season 2 and this episode explains just what they have been up to. It was the one episode that really brought "the others" into play and Anna Lucia's character really built them up to be scary people. Also Eko was bad ass here.
4. Ben's flashback- It answered a lot of questions about what happened to the Dharma and I loved learning that "Roger Workman" was Ben's father.
3. The episode where Jack and Locke argue about the button in the hatch. The entire Jack-Locke Man of Science vs Man on Faith feud could be here, but it was Jack and Locke's exchanges in final episode of season 1 and start of season 2 that really stand out for me. Locke: "Why do you find it so hard to believe?" Jack: "WHY DO YOU FIND IT SO EASY!" also Jack yelling at Desmond "WHY ARE YOU RUNNING? YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU'RE RUNNING FROM!" really endured Jack to me.
2. Ben in the hatch- This ran on for several episodes and was so tense. The way Ben played Jack and Locke off against eachother great. He was also the creepiest guy ever when he tells Sayid where is balloon is and when he leaves says "Well it's a good thing I'm not one of these "others" because if I was there wouldn't be a balloon where Sayid is going instead there would be a few of my men waiting there, ready to ambush him....well it's a good thing I'm not one of them. Got any milk?" Also why does he have no eyelashes? That makes him even scarier.
1. Charlie's Greatest Hits. Very sad episode that brought a tear to my eye with Charlie writing down the 5 greatest moments of his life. The number 1 moment was where he met Claire was sad too and included the best chat up line ever "so....first plane crash? You can always spot the newbies." Also when Claire left Charlie's 'DS' ring in Aaron's crib I was like "noooo!"

10. Eko is killed by the smoke monster and issues the warning to Locke, "You're next." - Eerie. Too bad it hasn't meant anything so far.
9. Hurley "saves everyone" - Hurley runs over an Other with his hippy van, thus ensuing the rescue of Jin, Bernard, and Sayid. Sayid kills an Other with a scissor lock as his hands are tied behind his back. That was badass. Sawyer shoots a surrendering Mr. Friendly - I just loved the dialogue. Friendly: "Okay, I give up." *bang* Sawyer: "That's for taking the boy." Hurley: "Dude, he surrendered." Sawyer: "I didn't believe him."
8. The first Locke flashback of him in a wheelchair - The island is revealed to heal people and Locke's catchphrase "Don't tell me what I can't do!" is born. I almost considered the episode where he was thrown out a window to the sidewalk 80 feet below, but this was more defining.
7. Mr. Friendly and his group of merry pirates steal Walt - WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALT!
6. Michael kills off 1/2 of the women on the island - He shoots Ana Lucia after offering to kill "Henry". Libby then walks in and he shoots her twice. He then releases Henry from the cell and shoots himself in the shoulder. Damn.
5. Michael sells out - He gives up Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and Hurley to the Others in exchange for a boat for him and his son to get off the island. But they send back Hurley anyway.
4. Henry Gale isn't really Henry Gale - Shortly after the Hatch locks down on Locke's legs, Sayid reveals that they found "Henry's" balloon, but then he says he dug up the grave as well and found a man with the ID Henry Gale. Oh, snap!
3. Charlie fulfills Desmond's vision - He disables the signal jammer by humming Good Vibrations and talks to Penny. Cyclops (as Charlie referred to him) holds up a grenade from outside the station and blows out the window. Before he goes, he writes NOT PENNY'S BOAT on his hand and holds it up for Desmond to see.
2. Hurley finds Desmond naked in the jungle after being sent back by the Others - He lends him an enormous tie dyed t-shirt. Desmond tells Hurley about a speech Locke made about saving Jack, Kate, and Sawyer. But wait....he didn't make that speech yet!
1. The timer runs down to zero and the Hatch implodes - Des finds out that the crash of Oceanic 815 occurred on September 22nd 2004, the same day that he accidentally allowed the timer to run out. Something about electromagnetic anomalies. dun dun dun. "See you in another life, brother." LOUD NOISES. Desmond grabs the key and reaches the system termination switch. THE SKY IS PURPLEY WHITE.
HONORABLE MENTIONS: Ana Lucia attacks Sawyer, then has sex with him. Sawyer and Kate have sex in a cage. Boone and Shannon have sex. Boone sustains fatal injuries after he falls from a tree in a small aircraft.

Well I think I could put the entire season 4 onto that list. What an amazing return to form it was. Here are some highlights of the the fourth year:
-The French Women dies....I wasn't that thrilled about this. We never did get the Danielle flashback episode we were promised or that the show needed. But this lead to what has to be one of the greatest moments ever...
-Alex dies! The Other Others (the ones from the boat) threaten to kill Alex unless Ben gives himself up. He lies "She means nothing to me." So they kill her!! Ben then replies by getting the smoke monster to kill them! For the first time in 4 years they have explained a bit about the smoke monster. That was so cool.
-They go home! In the fantastic series 3 finale we know Kate, Jack and "him" whoever that was would make it back, but I didn't expect it to happen anytime soon. The him turned about to be Aaron and along with Sayid, Sun and Hurley they complete the Oceanic 6.
-Claire dies? I dunno if she's dead, but I think she is. Her cabin is shot with an RPG, but it looks like she survived. Then Miles, who has the 6th sense starts looking at her funny, we next see her with her dead-dad chilling out in Jacob's Love Shack. She's gotta be dead right?
-Desmond's phonecall to Penny. Desmond is quite possibly the most popular character on the show, which may be surprising since he only became a main character in Season 3. But his past is so tragic it's easy to sympathise with him. The phonecall as an amazing feel good scene as Penny now knows that he is alive. Let's hope Ben doesn't kill Penny like he vowed to do...
-Michael's redemption. His return was cool and I loved the way he couldn't die. Even when somebody tries to shoot him at point blank. Too bad he met his maker in the end.
-The island moves..... w.t.f?! Incredible.
-Locke's dead?! Whaaa??!
-Hurley and Ben share a chocolate bar. The funniest scene ever.
Hurry up Season 5!
I was thinking about doing another one of these for either Heroes, PB or 24. What do you think?

24 would be a good one.
At least I no longer have to watch the shows when I can just read the top 10 on here.

I love Lost too! I cannot wait until it returns. Mark my words, John Locke will be back. Maybe I'm just in denial though...
