Euro 2008........

Okay so did anyone watch the England game against Russia today? I just saw the highlights and am now really depressed. The fact that we could now beat Croatia 10-0 in out final match and still go out is quite sickening. The thought of missing Euro 2008 is terrible and it wold be very hard to watch the tournament knowing that we should be there.

It's a shame that Mclaren will probably lose his job now, just as his team is looking really good, but I guess we are now paying the price for drawing with Israel... twice... and also not beating Macedonia.... at home.

I am becoming an adoptive Israeli now and will be begging them to avoid losing to Russia.

Anyone have any thoughts on the match or the tournament?

(Any "It's only a game" comments will be ignored...)

I'm really pissed off, I mean why the hell let that gimp of a manager Mclaren get this far without having a go at him? His tactics clearly don't work. I could do a better job with my system I use on Football Manager

Still, if we miss out on this tournament he had better be gone. If not I'll stop watching England games until he is. Although not like that is an issue, we don't have any other games worth worrying about til World Cup quali's next fall.

Lets be honest, I could do a better job than Mclaren and Im a girl....

Its the same old story, the manager pandering to the press, and England choking at the last minute.

But at least this weekend we have England losing the Rugby and Hamilton ballsing up the title that is rightfully his... God, its great being English...

Yeah I was thinking last night that this could very well be the worst weak in English sport for years if we don't win something. To be fair to our rugby team they really have done well to reach the final, but as world champions surely we should have been expecting to do well and not just hoping it? As for Hamilton, I think he can pull it off on Sunday, which would hopefully at least give us something to cheer about until Russia beat Israel in the football...

Nope sorry, I dont share your optimism. They're English, if anyone can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, its an Englishman
