Well that was gutting. I thought and so did many other people I spoke to that Liverpool truely deserved to win last night. We took the game to Milan all first half, then as it is in football they got a goal from a free kick which papers are now reporting as a handball. Then came the second half...
Liverpool seemed to of lost their enthusiasm in the first 15 minutes, then it looked like we were coming back into it only for Milan to get a second. Liverpool then stepped it up a gear looking for the 2 we needed in 20 minutes but we failed to provide. The only goal we got was from Kuyt who up until the last five minutes didn't deserve to be playing.
I think the mistakes we made last night are due to the fact we don't have strikers who have proved they can play at this level. (Could be sorted as rumour has it Benitez is going after Eto or David Villa in the summer.) and the fact that Zenden should of come of at half time. The only thing that puzzles me is the fact that Mascherano got took off in place for Crouch when he had done a fantastic job of keeping the ball away from Kaka. Still thats football for you and I'm glad that Liverpool lost to Milan now than rather to Chelsea in the Semi's.

Hmm, I had no idea you could use your hand to deflect the ball into the net; must be a new rule that is only used in Greece.....
Regardless, AC Milan will represent Europe in the FIFA Club World Cup!
