Okay it's the 2nd leg of the semi finals this week. Liverpool are 1-0 down to Chelsea, and Millan are 3-2 down to Man U but now both are playing at home. So who do you think will win and who will go through?
Liverpool vs Chelsea
AC Millan vs Manchester United

Liverpool win and go through
Draw in the other game and Man U go through.

Now thats a bit technical for me, Im a mere woman after all and football isnt really my forte... however, Id say both will win because otherwise I have to remember the away goal rule and, well, my head might explode...

What can I say about that game I just saw? It was simply amazing; I had some big Liverpool fans over which made the atmosphere exciting.... What a game it was; Liverpool was so close to winning it all after that post shot, man how close....
But in the end, a well played (if you can call a shootout that) shootout by Liverpool to put them in the finals...
I'm hoping now Man U wins for it'll be Man U and Liverpool in a great final match up...

Man, what a game. It was a nail biter all the way through. I went to a friends house and watched it, I couldn't believe it when we won. I was jumping up and down and screaming "this is what english football is all about."
For Chelsea to walk into the game and think they were going to get an easy ride at Anfield they were dead wrong. The European cup means everything to Liverpool. Pepe Renia proved why he's called the "spanish shot stopper."
All I've got to do now is locate a store that sells Liverpool shirts here in toronto.

Its a bug bear of mine tbh. I hate it when my brother says "we" when he's referring to Man U. We live about 50 mile away ^^
Say "we" when you are referring to your local team, sure. But a team that you've never lived near or been to a home game of? pfft silly men.

I've been to Anfield a load of times. I went up 3 times in one month once, thats enduring 12 hours there and back 3 times over! Never lived near them though.
Still THEY beat Chelsea and thats all the londoners will be going on about for a while now. (Well until Man U stuff it to them Saturday and in the FA Cup.)

Yes. WE will stuff them in the cup final. I just hope that WE beat Millian tonight. It's going to be close, but I think WE can do it. I am currently wearing my Man U shirt underneath my Man U jumper.

Ac Milan 2 - 0 Man U.
That means as it stands Man U need two goals to take it level and head for extra time.

3-0 Millan...
That was the worst performance I have seen from Man U all season. It was simply terrible and we deserved to get thrashed like that. So awful that it ruined the rest of my evening.
Anyway it's a rematch from the 05 final with Liverpool vs AC Millan. Should be a great game.
Btw AC Millan shouldn't have even been in the tournament this year after being kicked out due to match-fixing. The Italian FA bottled it when they put AC back into the champions league and I said how ironic it would be if they won it. It could happen.

Yes it is May 23rd. I was trying to get tickets but they sold out  Looks like I'll have to find some place to watch it here. |
