Also why has he just closed it rather than shutting down the domain? Something tells me there is another motive to all of this.

I think this place with have the atmosphere that ps never could.
Still really pissed off that the old board got closed early, thats a shitty thing to do when we've supported that board, lived with the random deletions, saudi invaders and whatnot for the past 5 years...

It's just the whole, "this board will be closing in it's current state" that made me think there is more going on with this than any of us know. Why close it in the current state? Is he planning to reopen it and hope none of us join?

Well Rich always liked his shopzone clone site more than the forum. Maybe he will turn it in a general disscussion thread after all.
I am gutted than I lost all my promos and matches before I had a chance to copy them though.
