Might as well start a thread for WWE's minor league. Did anyone see ECW this week? For an instant I thought I was seeing the debut of the legendary Abdullah The Butcher, but no... it was Big Daddy V! Big Vis has finally shed the huge pyjama-tent, and now looks AMAZING! Covered in cool tattoos, he looks every bit like the aforementioned Abdullah, he looks an absolute monster now. I like the new direction of BDV. First time I've marked for him since he picked my wife up above his head in a nightclub about 13 years ago, and almost cracked her head on the ceiling!
It was refreshing to see someone finally punish the evil Boogeyman, by bum-rushing him through the chalkboard. I reckon this could be Mabel's best gimmick yet, as he is finally pushed as a big monster instead of a cheesy Barry White-alike love-walrus.
I never realised how great he could look in a leotard...
Also, Rob Van Dam has been conspicuous in his absence on ECW. It's no secret that he has not renewed his contract with WWE, so I am hoping he makes his TNA debut this weekend at Victory Road.

Yep, only a matter of time before RVD shows up in TNA.
There's a 10 Man Ultimate X Match at Victory Road, with 2 wrestlers yet to be named.......could he be one of them??
Actually, I doubt that. When he debuts he'll no doubt be thrust into the Main Event spotlight IMO.

I dunno, a feud with Joe over the X Division title would be awesome. I reckon RVD will debut in that match like you said.
I think the X Division is where RVD will excel anyway, and dominate like he did with the TV title in ECW. He made the TV title more credible than the ECW title back then.

I wouldn't be banking on that, RVD has been quoted a few times since leaving WWE now that he has no intrest in wrestling at the moment and plans to take alot of time out. He's also commented on TNA and have said they'd have to make him a very large offer to go there. Now about ECW, I was nearly sick when I saw Vis's tits on tuesday night. It was far from a pretty sight. Notice how CM Punk beat Stevie Richards for the 8th time this week? I really hope they give the belt to CM Punk soon, if not at GAB but at Summerslam.

RVD has been quoted a few times since leaving WWE now that he has no intrest in wrestling at the moment and plans to take alot of time out. Damn, that's definitely a minus for us. RVD was one of the few reasons I tuned in each week. I know his routine became a bit samey-samey in recent years, but Rob Van Dam on his worst day is way better than 90% of the roster on their best day. TNA need to see that he is currently the hottest free agent out there and make him an offer he can't refuse. And I don't mean leaving a horse's head in his bed either...

Yeah but TNA are stupid enough to build a show around Kurt Angle when they have other talent that they could do so with. Personally I think TNA should stay out of the free agent market at the moment and focus on making their show better and bringing fresher faces to the top.
Really a bit like WWE does with ECW, look what they are doing with the talent on the show. They know how to use it and use it properly.

I definitely agree with that.
They have more than enough talent in the company at the moment, but are just treading water. It is nice to se Harris and Storm beginning to make waves as singles stars but TNA need to build on that and continue building headliners.
I'm glad to see Triple X back together aswell. Personally, i thought Daniels' gimmick bombed and with Senshi having no direction and the return of Skipper, reforming Triple X seems like a good option.
On the subject of ECW, I think CM Punk is set to win the ECW Title at Summerslam.....and providing the feud with Nitro is keeps a decent pace until then, it should be a very notable and memorable title switch.

I tell you this past week's ECW main event was an EXCELLENT match. I enjoyed it highly. I was stuck to the tube throughout the whole thing. I'm liking ECW's new direction, I can only hope though it continues.
Big Vis, well, you didnt miss much this week Cloud. Except for the fact he pwn'ed three jobbers.
