Hey guess what? I'm back into wwe again; I bought like a years worth of ppv dvds to try to catch me up on the action.... (I have every ppv dvd wwe has had since summer slam 02, this is like the only thing I collect in my life so I’m proud of my collection) So yeah, anyone even thinking of considering to order this thing? Last ppv I ordered was GAB last year and I regret it to this day, but since it's tri-brand it should be a good show.... So yeah, lets talk wwe!!!!

Last one I ordered was this year's WrestleMania. In the UK we get like five or six free ppv's, and the rest we have to pay £15 (30 bucks to you). I didn't order Judgment Day, One Night Stand was free and I didn't order Vengeance - ironically because I found out Benoit had cancelled a few hours earlier.
I haven't enjoyed wrestling much recently. TNA has begun to improve, but prior to the Benoit situation, WWE has had me roaring with despair at the poor quality of it's programming. The Vince death angle I found insulting, especially when Chavo Guerrero of all people gushed at what a great loss he was to the industry. Less than two short years ago his tears were for real. I found it even more insulting because it ran alongside the real death of Jeff Jarret's wife Jill. It almost seemed like a cheap dig at TNA.
Since the Benoit scandal however, I forsee a radical restructuring of WWE's creative output, possibly ushering in a new cartoon era to steer itself away from the real life issues that surrounds it today. I for one would welcome a move away from the shock tactics they have employed recently, as I think TNA have suffered by trying to compete with WWE on their level. By creating an obvious contrast in styles, this would allow TNA to concentrate on what they do best by providing competition-based pro wrestling focussing on actual wrestling talent again, as opposed to bringing in old faces and trying to compete with WWE in the storylines department.
Basically what I'm saying is what I've always said - WWE should provide wrestling action with an emphasis on backstage drama, comedy, gimmicks and storylines. I believe the time is right for Sting to finally make the move to Stamford. He seems out of place in TNA.
- TNA should provide wrestling action with an emphasis on in-ring combat, athleticism, realism, and exciting characters. I believe the time is right for Rob Van Dam to make an impact like he never did in WWE. Then we might see the real RVD again.
That way, everyone knows exactly where to look to see what they want to see.
If what I am hoping happens, indeed does happen, then I feel I will enjoy WWE a great deal more than I have in the last twelve months or so. The run-up to The Great American Bash will determine whether I buy it or not.
Then again, if it's free, then I'll watch it regardless...

Flyers, I hijacked your thread and made it THE PS.PB.105.com (not as catchy as PS.net) thread for the GAB.
I think Orton vs. Cena may happen here, I also have a sneaky suspicsion that we may see an end to Cena's reign of terror with the WWE Title. I dunno why but I have a gut feeling he won't be holding it for much longer.
Edge may face Flair or Mysterio here in my opinion. It all depends on Mysterio being back in time, he may just make an apperance or possibly a run in. It'd be great to see Flair in a decent title fued, Edge really brings out the best in him.
Other matches I think are: King Booker vs. Lashely Umaga vs. That Italian guy Nitro vs. CM Punk MVP vs. Kane

Nitro vs. Punk will definitely happen, and they'll feud into Summerslam I think, that's where Punk will win the gold I hope.
Booker vs. Lashley sounds likely but in terms of Edge's next World Title feud?? I doubt Flair will be involved.....it was only 18 months ago when they had their mini feud during Edge's first WWE Title reign. Maybe Mysterio if he's back in time.......or why not Matt Hardy?? He continues to be over with the fans and they have a platform on which to build a very heated feud IMO.
Cena vs. Orton??? More than likely, and from what I hear Triple H wants Orton as WWE Champ in the very near future (obviously, so he can come back and beat him for it). So this match will probably happen and I'd be more than happy to see young Randall win the gold!!

Anyone watching/ordering this? I'm thinking of watching it, it doesn't seem to bad of an event.

I will Sky plus it. Gotta be up for work at 5am. I must say I'm not too excited, specially the triple threat with Khali etc. Matt Hardy should have won that battle royal. I do hope Big Daddy V puts in an appearance though. He looks awesome!
Bobby Lashley stands a slimmer than slim chance of winning the other belt, as Cena's Smeagol-like grip on the title rivals that of The King Of Kings himself.
Speaking of Triple H, that was a nice teaser by Booker T the other day. Makes you realise how we need him to come and save WWE from a ratings vaccuum.

Yeah, it does. Shame Trips return isn't until the MSG show in a few weeks time!
I'm gonna watch it, even if I don't do the main events, I'm still looking forward to Nitro (I refuse to call him that other awful name) vs. CM Punk the most out of all the matches on the card.
