Game Of Thrones?

Anyone who caught this show and watched it to the end of the first season, what an amazing show!
Think Lord Of The Rings without the magic, homoerotic overtones and stupid little cretins with massive feet.

Really, it is brilliantly acted and written. Sean Bean approaches his career best, and some of the shocking twists in later episodes are jaw-dropping.

Star of the show however is Peter Dinklage, who excels as the dwarf prince Tyrion "Halfman" Lannister.

Just cannot wait till season two hits in April. The ending was amazing!

Oh how I love Game of Thrones! I honestly had never heard of it before and caught a few minutes of the "making of" programme and was hooked. Luckily they were running a catch up on Sky Atlantic and I managed to watch it from the beginning. I'm quite glad that I hadnt read the book first as it made the ending that much more of a shock, but after the end of the series I did invest in the books, and they don't dissapoint either

My love for Sean Bean is well charted, especially sporting the HHH look, and I agree Metal, he really shone in this.
Peter Dinklage was hilarious, he has excellent comic timing and really did a great job with what I think could have been a difficult role to pull off.

I dont know what else to say without spoiling the ending, but if anyone hasnt seen it and gets the chance to, do it!!

Didnt realise series 2 was due out in April- yay!

Almost three years on and I'm still hooked, anyone else watching GOT? Can't wait for the next season!
