So as some of you may know I am a big fan of Shimmer Womens Wrestling. For those not in the know it's the sister promotion of ROH featuring just women wrestlers.
It may sound like a little pervy thing to be into, but these women wrestlers are brilliant and it's one of the most consistent wrestling promotions in North America and is the go-to place whenever the WWE or TNA are looking to sign female workers. Some of the names that have gone through Shimmer include Shantelle Taylor (Taylor Wilde), Daffney, Sarah Stock (TNA's Sarita), TNA Knockout Hamada, former WWE diva Serena, Nikita (Katie Lea), Nattie Neidhart, Ashley Lane (Madison Rayne), Cheerleader Melissa (Alissa Flash/Saeed), Beth Phoenix and Amazing/Awesome Kong. In addition to those you have ROH regulars Sara Del Rey, Daizee Haze, Lacey, MsChif and Allison Danger.
So yeah the talent on these shows is pretty damn great and promote Dave Prazak goes out of his way to bring in the best women from the USA, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Great Britain, Ireland, Australia, Sweden and even Croatia!
Anyway the reason I am making this thread, not just to promote the product, is because I am seriously contemplating jumping on a plane in March and heading to Chicago for the next four Shimmer tapings, and more importantly- the after party.
Yeah, it's a crazy, crazy idea...but I think I might do it...
