Loved the pivotal scene tonight where Walt and Skyler finally had it out. It's been a long time coming.... And finally, we completely see Heisenberg the boss. He's smart, vindictive and ruthless. Pivotal point. How long could a liability like Skyler possibly stay alive after this? Whether it is by her own doing or by Walt's hand... it seems that will be the straw which completes his transformation. Poetic too. After all, he did all this for his family at first. Perfect character arc.

I am fully confident Skylar will die by Walt's hand. If he is prepared to poison that poor kid with ricin in order to put things in motion, he will murder his liability of a wife after she declared her hope for his death. Walt is so stone cold now that nothing is beyond him. He even deliberately let his wife see him enjoying Scarface so she could see that is who he has now become.

In the battle between Skyler and the water, I was really rooting for the water. At least the drama came to a head. I sincerely hope there's no more scenes with Walt spooning Skyler in bed while she makes a grim face and a single tear falls down her face. Please stop. Bad director! Bad!
"That's what I get for being sexist." - Best line of the episode.

Holy shit, the dinner table scene was hilarious. Probably the funniest scene in the entire series run.
It's kind of strange to think how few scenes main characters like Jesse and Skyler (second and third billed in this case) have been in together.
Really good episode overall. Odenkirk was great as usual in his limited screen time.

So that's it for 2012. It was the logical conclusion to this part of the season. It had to happen and unfortunately didn't have a strong element of surprise to it. However, upon further thought, how it came about is great. Walt is right there.... unknowing of Hank's mid-shit epiphany. I wondered all season why they split Season 5 in two rather than just calling them S5 and S6. I get it now. It's not a big enough twist to climax a whole series on. But Hank's knowing is such a huge game changer that it really does become pre-knowing and post-knowing. A complete shift in environment, characters and relationship dynamics. I can't wait for next year. As far as mini cliffhangers go, this one is going to kill me!

Yeah, it wasn't really a shocker, but it's nice to know that Hank literally shat himself when he put it together (although he really doesn't have any evidence right now). Like you said, it's a natural split to the two half-seasons, but the time between the seasons is now going to be extra long and infuriating.

At least we know Powerslam will get the bare minimum activity for at least another year. What would Powerslam: A Breaking Bad Community do without Breaking Bad? It will be like dividing by zero.
I would suggest calling it Powerslam: A Community Community, but I'm sure that show will get canceled this year, and I don't know that anyone else watches it on here.
