Who were the champions when you were born?

Well I was bored and wondered who were the world, IC and tag team champions on the day I was born. I found out;

WWF World Champion- Hogan. Well that sucks.

IC Champion- Savage. Awesome!!

WWF Tag Team Champions- British Bulldogs. Equally awesome!

US Champ- Magnum TA....right.

So that was mine. 2 great, 1 bad and 1 I don't know of.

IC Champ - Randy Savage. Awesome, "I'm the macho man, oh yeah! *spins*"

US Title - Nikita Koloff. Fun

World Tag Champs - The Hart Foundation. Very cool.

Hogan is the only one of these that I can remeber ever seeing wrestle....

This is a bit difficult for me, being born in the latter end of 1970, as there was no WWF Tag Team, Intercontinental or US titles back then.

I managed to find a few champions of note from my birthday.

WWWF World Heavyweight Champion - Bruno Sammartino. Needs no introduction.

AWA World Heavyweight Champion - Verne Gagne. Again, no introduction needed.

NWA World Heavyweight Champion - Dory Funk Jr. Need I say more?

So three legends were champions when I was born.

The AWA Tag Team Champions were Mad Dog Vachon and Butcher Vachon.
Quite interesting.

That was at a time when wrestling titles were very confusing, and scattered about throughout America, and people like Sammartino held the title for eight years.
