Im trying to get hold of Rich to find out how much PS costs to run and whether it is something I can afford to do (babies cost money and the government think students can live on beans), I also dont know whether Ash is prepared to continue paying towards it (PS, not babies or beans) and its unfair to presume that he will until he has made his intentions clear himself.
So what Im asking really is, is it worth me finding out, sorting out who will pay etc etc?
How many would like us to save PS and would use it regularly, and how many would prefer just to jack it in and start afresh?

...That you Tim?
Stupid different names...
Is this the new place to be then? We gonna make a go of this place?
If so I have email addresses for everyone who was ever a member at ps, if one of the admin wants to send out emails to advertise this place? *shrugs* just trying to be helpful.

Actually, scratch that. Ill send the emails through ps's email system. That way they wont get caught up in *most* peoples spam box, plus no-one will have to reveal their real email address (not sure if this forum has that facility) And if Rich doesnt like it? Whats he gonna do? De-admin me?

I dunno. Maybe we might as well carry on here. At least we could make this place our own. I would be like leaving home for the first time and going it alone. I'm all for it. I think keeping the old one might be like flogging a dead horse. It would be nice if the old board could be kept online just to view posts. I don't know whether that's possible or not.

It doesnt look that way tbh and after speaking to Rich it seems that the cost of keeping the board going is in the region of £100+ per month. I think we'd be better off here, like you say, we can make it our own, Woo doesnt need to write his PM's down on a piece of paper and Knox can be a mod again (well admin ) A change is as good as a rest... or something

It's great to see everyone wants to use this place now.
Just a quick history lesson for those who didn't know why this place is here:
When the original forum went down in August of '06 I created this place and managed to get hold of email adresses to let people know where we were. This was only supposed to be a temp measure. I've always kept it active by letting proboards know the board was in use. (I made little changes over the last 6 months to get by that rule.)
It's great to see the place is going to be used again, I know it's only a proboard forum but alot of my time went into creating this place. But rule no.1 is this place will never close down. If things ever get to hetic for me I'll pass on the main adminship to someone else who has the time to take control.
