Okay I just heard that Danielson was fired for choking somebody with a neck tie on Raw as it wasn't PG....
If this is an angle it's awesome. If this is real it's utterly, utterly shit.
Fuck you WWE!

I read that he was fired because of the depiction of strangulation, an act that has been forbidden since he-who-must-not-be-named.

A act that Chris Jericho did to JBL at the Royal Rumble a couple of years after the Benoit incident.

Yeah, if that is the case then I think it is a fairly steep punishment to put on somebody new to the company who may not even know that's one of the company's rules. Word is there is a lot of sympathy for Danielson within the WWE lockerroom.

If they truly fired him for this, it means they didn't think very highly of him to begin with and he was never going to make it anywhere in the company anyway. He's better off.

I reckon he was the one driving the limo that rattled Bret around like a dried pea inside a tin can.

Well it would seem that Daniel Bryan made his WWE return last night at Summerslm teaming up with the WWE guys against the NXT rookies. Seems to be a very interesting turn of events. Maybe it was all a work after all....

Bryan Daniel's return was excellent, I did not see it coming at all (although it depressed me that it meant excluding The Miz from the main event - i was hoping Bret Hart would have stepped out for Miz).
From what I've read, it wasn't a planned 'work' all along. Supposedly there was talks of either having Cena turn heel or HHH return, but then WWE contacted Bryan about coming back - he's also apparently still booked for an event on the 25th and 26th of September that he plans on honoring.

Either way it was great booking. He came out looking like a star and has a ready made program were he can take the US belt from The Miz.

his entrance left something to be desired; he just power walked it down the ramp with barely any music. But I agree, I see him taking the US belt off the Miz so that the Miz will cash in his MitB and become world champ. Too bad, it'd have been nice to see him cash it in last night and be a US/World champ.

Yes pretty sensational booking for a change. Bryanson was excellent on Summerslam. I found it hilarious that as I was marking for The Miz, Cena vomited in his kettle by announcing the seventh member. I honestly was expecting Triple H, the Bryan was a real curveball. As you say, the feud is already in place with The Miz, as was evidenced last night on Raw when he skull-crushing finaled Bryan's fucking head onto the MITB briefcase. Great booking, and I hope Bryan toes the line and doesn't strangle anyone with a tie, because I'm really excited to see him back. I also loved how Cole immediately began ripping on him by calling him a dweeb and questioning how he can be a professional athlete and not eat meat. Pillock. Also on Raw last night, The Apex Predator kicked seven shades of shit out of The Celtic Warrior in a segment where Orton completely flipped out in an outrageous fashion. Hardly PG-friendly, but I guess some people can get away with this kind of behaviour.
