Sharkboy's New Gimmick *spoilers*

- It appears TNA will be going ahead with the "Stone Cold" Sharkboy storyline now. Back in the Fall, Sharboy appeared on the TNA Today program and cut a promo like Stone Cold Steve Austin. There was even some talk of that being Sharkboy's new gimmick, but it never progressed. TNA played out an angle on iMPACT last night where Sharkboy awoke from a coma, only to cut a promo, Steve Austin style, complete with Stone Cold gestures and all.

Sharkboy's previous gimmick, where he kept getting injured was a rib at WWE's roster, which has suffered it's share of injuries as of late. That storyline was the brainchild of TNA booker Dutch Mantel.

See to me this is the exact think TNA need to sat away from, it's pointless and it only hurts them in the long run. The backstage segments are awful, the only good one's they did was with Nash and Shelley.

I read online that WWE could actually sue TNA for this and are looking into the possiblity because of impersonating a copyrighted character.

I hope the WWE do sue them, maybe they will learn a lesson if that happens. Why they feel they need to make jokes at the WWE is a mystery to me. First there was the VKM crap and now there is Goldusts' rat being called 'Marlena' and now this. I don't think TNA will ever become a tully sucessful company, which is a shame given that only two years ago they were superhot. It's ironic that they keep doing all these jokes at the WWE, yet the biggest joke in wrestling is TNA.

- It looks like WWE fired a small shot back at TNA for doing the "Stone Cold" Sharkboy gimmick. Charlie Haas has been bringing out a luchadore mask during his RAW dark matches and bouts on Heat. The other night at the RAW/Heat tapings in his match with Val Venis, Haas had his regular mask ripped off then he went under the ring and came back out with a Sharkboy like mask. This brought a lot "Sharky" chants from the crowd.

I'll have to watch heat this week now, should be good.
