Okay I just read two wrestling related news stories which sound so surreal I thought I would mention them.

The first is about a film coming out called The Wrestler. I read about this a few months back and read that Nicholas Cage was the main character (I guess 'The Wrestler') before he dropped out. But today I read that someone else has been telling people that he will be replacing Cage and it happens to be a former wrestler. Now I am sure you will be thinking of potential people for the role such as Austin, Hogan or better still- The Rock. But no, apparently it's rumored to be Mr. Charisma himself- Greg, The Hammer, Valentine. What the hell?! How did that guy get the gig?

Stranger than that I heard that one wrestler did a stand-up gig. You might be thinking of people like Y2J, Christian or better still- The Rock. But no, it was none other than Rob Van Dam! "Dude, whatever that's cool." Imagine the laughs... Also from the potentially unreliable source I read Booker T and New Jack (yes you read that right- New Jack) might be doing it next too.

Lol, I think Greg Valentine might me doing a role in the film. Mickey Rourke has landed the lead in the film.

Could you imagine a New Jack stand up gig? No one would laugh and he'd kill em all.
