That looked pretty staged to me.
So did Scott Hall not show up then? What a loser.
I wonder if they will do a TNA Hardcore (Joe, Sabin, Shelly, Daniels etc) vs TNA 'Superstar' (Angle, Booker, Tomko, Nash) feud now?

No it wasn't staged, Joe has even apologised for it backstage. He said he was pretty upset for saying what he did. The bit where he leans over the ropes and goes "What are you upset? Go Ahead and fire me" is to Dixie Carter, she was on the floor at the time he decided to shoot.
Yeah Hall rung up about 30 minutes ahead of his match and claimed food poisoning, idiot.
What does it mean for TNA though? I guess I'm hoping it'll prove that most TNA wrestlers feel held down. Dixie Carter told people at the meeting yesterdat morning that if they don't like working for TNA they can go and their contract will be null and void. Senshi took them up on the offer and worked his last match for TNA last night.

lol, Senshi is hilarious. I read on wikipedia how he once shouted at Sunny after she took his chair backstage. He screamed something like "YOU WILL RESPECT LOW KI!!!"
Hopefully Dixie will see the light and start pushing the TNA Faithful rather than continue to import ex WWE drones. If they built their roster around AJ, Joe, Abyss, Daniels, Sabin and Cage (yes I know he was in the WWE, but unlike everyone else who was fired he left voluntarily) the product would improve a lot. But they will continue to sign turds, Hall, Rikishi, Test, Morgan, Pacman etc...
Btw Eric Young as his partner? Who the hell made that choice?
You have to believe that Joe is pretty much untouchable and can't be fired. If they do he would be snapped up by ROH, Japan on even worse for them WWE. BTW why was he taking pot shots at Nash the whole time?

I dunno, I guess he was pissed at the old timers just doing stuff for the money (which in fairness they do.)
I'm hoping Dixie does start pushing the people that has got TNA it's following than the ex WWE guys, the new wrestlers deserve it way more. I'm peed that it is taking something like this for action to be taken.
Joe and a few road agents made the choice for Eric Young to partner. Although Eric will never main event, I think he is a really good wrestler.
Joe was spot on with his shoot and it's true, guys like Motor City Machine Guns and Jay Lethel are jobbing just to keep them down the card so they don't make the WWE guys look bad.
Oh, btw the video doesn't work anymore.

Yeah, I watched it yesterday. Pretty intense shoot by Joe, and totally off-the-cuff in my opinion. I saw no indication it was staged, other than the fact the other guys knew he was gonna at least say something. You could see Kurt mouth the words "think about it, Joe" just before Joe grabbed the mike. It was surprising to see such improvisation allowed on live TV, but I reckon he only said what most other people don't have the cojones to say. And he did take more than a few potshots at Nash, and shot him a few knowing glances as Nash leaned against the ropes, visibly uncomfortable.
Right at the end of the match, Nash did exactly as I expected and walked away as soon as the final bell rung. I reckon he'll be the next one to pack his bags, as he probably feels about as welcome as a fart in a space suit.
All in all, I feel it was maybe a mistake by Joe, but only time will tell whether it signals the start of a shake-up, and if it does, then Joe will have done the job he intended to do. I think if Vince made him an offer he couldn't refuse, Joe would refuse it. He strikes me as a pretty genuine guy with a real passion for the game, and would be letting himself down by "working" in Stamford.
This is the first instance of what I consider honesty in professional wrestling that I have seen in a number of years now. And I support Joe in almost everything he said. I do think he was maybe wrong to drag Kurt's name through the mud though. He has done nothing but good for TNA, and is one of the true heroes of the business.
