Fabulous Moolah passes away
WWE is saddened by the passing of Lillian Ellison, who was known to sports-entertainment fans as Hall of Famer Fabulous Moolah. She passed away last night in Columbia, S.C.
In the world of women’s wrestling, there will always be one irrefutable legend that stands head and shoulders above the rest: The Fabulous Moolah. She was the longest reigning champion in the history of her chosen sport, or any sport for that matter. And with more than 50 years in the business to her credit, she established a legacy that will never be forgotten, making her name synonymous with female wrestling. ------------------
I never saw her wrestler and she was usually quite embarrassing on TV, but she's quite a legend so RIP Moolah.

Yeah I'm in complete agreement, however, I did see her wrestle, and she put many of today's divas to shame. But then again, her skits with Mae Young put wrestling to shame.
I was never a fan, but she is quite rightly a legend, so Rest In Peace Moolah.
How old was she anyway? I heard she was in her eighties. If so that's a good innings by anyone's standards.

Yeah, it sounds terrible to say this but it is fairly refreshing that a wrestler seemingly died of natural causes.

From her last outing at Summerslam though, you'd of never of guessed that she was near to kicking the bucket.
RIP Moolah
