In case you weren't aware. He's fucking awesome.
I've always liked him (parents are both fans so I grew up with him) but I never had any of his stuff on my own.
My room mate just picked up his 3 disc essential collection. It's great despite missing Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out and his cover of Jersey Girl.
Now I can't stop listening to him. He's already at #13 on my Last.fm profile and I think he may keep climbing.
This is in no way a bad thing.
Anyone else love The Boss? If not, you kids need to go get Born To Run and crank it on the way home with the windows down so you can understand!

I would, but I fear my fellow passengers on the bus might object. Having said that, fuck them! They always treat used to me to the treble-heavy strains of their cheesy pop toss. I think I may actually treat them with something a little more unacceptable than The Boss. He is too good to be wasted on the likes of chav ears.

Spot on. The Boss is phenomenal. He's more than just some kitch value nostalgic re-listen. He's a bonafide fist pumping sing demon! I think if I'm going to add anything to this thread it's that Glory Days must be my favourite Springsteen song. I had a boss (an actual boss) who is ex-rugby league fame named Gavin Miller. He was a pretty big name in the 80's. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gavin_MillerHe was an awful drunk who delegated all of his duties to the hotel's number two -- your's truly. Furthermore, he spun lies to the owners and spent his time punctuating sips of beer reliving the stories of when he was a succesful league player. Gav... glory days is just for you. You butt ugly piece of shit.
