According to pwtorch.com, The Nature Boy has quit WWE. Apparently this has nothing to do with the current steroid scandal, but WWE are reportedly begging Flair to reconsider. Flair reckons he's been buried since moving to Smackdown, and he's right. I can't remember the last time I saw him do anything memorable at all. With TNA looking to go two-hourly soon, I am sure somebody somewhere will make The Nature Boy an offer he can't refuse.

What PWtorch neglect to tell you though is that WWE have yet to give him his release and WWE are working on resolving the issue.
TNA is the last place Flair should even consider going, it's a mess and they'd only end up ruining the last few months of his career.

If he's really serious about quitting, he should FINALLY retire....and be given the platform on Smackdown in which to do so.
They handled the Trish "retirement" very well, but a genuine Flair retirement deserves an even bigger send off.
IF Flair does leave, whatever terms it's under, hopefully he won't get the Lita treatment.

Yeah give Flair a big push and then retire him at a PPV, SSeries perhaps?
I have never been a huge Flair fan and think he is passed it anyway tbh, so I am not really botherd about this.

Well, I think it's about time for Flair to give up wrestling. I hope if he does retire that WWE does give him a proper send off. After a career like his, it's well deserved. Bad timing though, considering the number of wrestlers involved in the steriod scandal and how much that's going to hurt the WWE.

Yeah, thats what I heard....before he was switched and quickly buried on Smackdown.
Obviously, he's had enough of it and is looking to get out sooner. He'd be a huge asset to TNA, so long as he doesn't wrestle. Having Flair as someone's manager would give them instant star power.

That's exactly what Ric Flair should do - become a manager, or at least a General Manager - as I think his best days left him two decades ago. I still have a massive amount of admiration for the man though, and he is one of the most naturally gifted showmen in the game. He could talk anyone under the table, and that's what the industry has missed in recent times... a respected authority figure.
Flair should not be griping about not getting a push as a wrestler, if anything his presence on the roster has held back certain individuals. If he were to sit back and HONESTLY analyse his current performance levels, I think even he will realise that he definitely needs to retire. He brings nothing new to a match, and is just ending up as a stepping stone, and becoming a journeyman along the way.
Don't know about you guys, but that's not how I want to remember The Nature Boy.

Ric Flair made an appearance on the syndicated radio program "Primetime with the Packman" earlier today and commented on his current WWE status.
According to a recap by PWInsider, Flair stated that rumors of him leaving WWE were not true. "We're just working out what we're going to do going forward", said Flair. Flair had nothing bad to say about the WWE and loves being there and said they just have to work out things "creatively." ---------------------
Working things out 'creatively'... does that mean 'I'm going to get pushed or else!'?
