www.ifight365.com/2010/01/tna-most-uk-fans-set-to-miss-out-on-genesis-ppv/According to The Wrestling Oserver, most of us here in the UK won't get to see Genesis, as it will not be on Bravo, but BT Vision instead, This sucks balls. So much for Hogan and Dixie's new direction... Step one: Alienate the British fanbase who turned out in their fucking thousands to see their UK live shows.

This is so stupid. I am losing so much faith in TNA. Hopefully the fans in London will be equally pissed at TNA and Hogan.
What the fuck is BT Vision anyway? I've never even heard of it and don't know if it's a TV channel, a PPV ordering service and online website. WTF IS IT?!

Fans in London will also be told how to behave like they were at last nights impact tapings.
BT Vision is shit. I dunno why they are doing this. Luckily I already Downloaded my version of it and will probably watch it on pod on the way to london this weekend.
London fans should chant "we want six sides" like the crowd did at Genesis too. Highly doubt Hogan will be there though.

Which brings me to step two of the new TNA direction... Remove the identifying trademark which set TNA apart from the squirming pile of indie promotions crushed under the jackbooted foot of Vince McMahon. So six sides is no more, as was predicted on here a few months ago. And Hogan's justification when faced with that barrage of chants of WE WANT SIX SIDES? Professional wrestling is supposed to be fought in a four sided ring. Hogan you weak bastard! On one hand you go on about moving the industry forward and change and how We fear change etc... Then on the other hand start spouting off about tradition and the way things are SUPPOSED to be, meanwhile undoing the one big change We did NOT fear, which was the six sided ring. Fuck Hogan, and fuck Bischoff. On the plus side, I watched right up until the start of the first match, and guess who debuted... THE Brian Kendrick! I'll watch it tonight and post a non judgemental review at some point over the the next few days.

Cool I'd like to read that Metal.
THE Brian Kendrick is a great asset buy he strikes me as a Jeff Hardy/RVD type guy who generally doesn't give a shit about wrestling and sees it only as a means to an end. I'm saying that negatively as it will be great in the long-term, but perhaps not so good for TNA.
Knox you going to the TNA show in London then? If so we should try and meet up.

I was going, ordered tickets and everything then realised that the date was on my gfs birthday. Lets say, it didn't go down so well. Luckily I flogged my tickets to a mate for more than what I paid. Still pretty pissed off though, missing out on the first ever non ppv ultimate x match. Dunno if anyone else caught this but I was listening to Bubba the Love's podcast and he recapped his interview with Hogan who said after the UK tour, he we be stopping TNA tours for the forseeable future. WTF!? How is TNA going to make any extra money?

So I just finished watching Genesis properly and I have to say that it was an okay show but it felt more like an extended impact again with all the backstage shit with Hogan.
My first picking point is why did Hogan tell everyone that they're on notice in TNA and that they have to prove themselves in TNA in order to earn their spot only to bring in numerous new talents who have not in "theory" earned thier spot? In all honesty that makes no sense to me at all. Surely that kinda makes the whole notice thing redundant. Damn TNA.
Secondly, most boring match of the night for me goes to Abyss vs. Mr K..... Anderson. It was pretty shit. I even got fairly bored during it and very quickly remembered how boring Anderson is to watch in the ring. Sure the guy has charisma but fuck all else going for him.
I'm not too sure either what TNA are trying to accomplish with the AJ/Flair thing. I dont know how much of this is true but Hogan was quoted saying "AJ needs the rub." Seriously? Has Hogan been watching fucking TNA? Is the man that much of a moron?
Last point I'm going to make is that alot of big name talent was missing off of this show. No 3D, MCMG, Joe or Homicide. I know there isn't room for everyone on the card but these names here deserve to be on the card.
