From Wrestling Online... Tony Halme, who wrestled for WWE under the name of Ludwig Borga, passed away yesterday at the age of 46. Halme had several issues over the past years and in March of 2006 was admitted to a mental hospital following several bouts with alcohol related problems. He was also suffering from short term memory.
Halme wrestled for New Japan between 1990 and 1993 and then went on to wrestle for the then WWF between mid 1993 and beginning of 1994, ending Tatanka's two year undefeated streak. He left the company in February 1994 after an injury.
In 2003 in his homeland of Finland, he entered the political world and the populist party of True Finns took him as an independent candidate. He was elected to the parliament with the 7th highest vote in the Helsinki parliamentary district.
Halme was also a boxer holding a record of 13 wins and 6 losses and an MMA record of 0 wins and 1 loss to the UFC's Randy Couture.Another tragedy. He was only 46 too. He was a musclehead, notable because he arrived in WWE at a time when they began pushing smaller guys such as Bret and Shawn. I liked him, but I bet nobody else here did. Shame.

I liked him, but I bet nobody else here did. I've never even heard of him, but it's a shame to see another former wrestler die so young, nonetheless.

I have heard of him, but never saw him wrestle. I was tempted to create the thread however, but seeing as how I didn't make one for Captain Lou Albano upon his death it would be strange if I honoured a Nazi supporter over him.
Still a death is still tragic even if you do have a Swastika tattoo.

Apparently the autopsy result says he commited suicide. With a gun.
Dunno why they had to wait for the autopsy to confirm that. Must have been a very small calibre gun, which he stuck down his throat I guess.
Or somewhere else.
Just thought I'd put that out there before Steala beats me to it.

Oh, I assure you, I would have never gone there.
I have a very high-brow, sophisticated humor about me.
