So I've been listening to our lord and saviour, David Bowie, all day. What have you done to celebrate?

I've been listening to Ted Nugent all day. Never was a fan of Bowie, although I recognise the creative input he has made and the influence he has had on many bands whom I idolise today. Hell, without him there would have been no KISS, and hence ultimately no modern black metal.

That's a hell of a leap...

It is, but influences can often be remote and tenuous, but they are influences just the same.

Without Bowie there would be no Labyrinth and who else would read the introduction to The Snowman quite as good?
Plus the TV series Life On Mars and Ashes To Ashes wouldn't exist either.

I prefer the TV series "I'm afraid of americans (version 4)"
Nikki Cox was great in it.
