From the NY Daily News:
- The WWE was rocked again today, after several of wrestling's top names emerged in the Albany district attorney's probe into a widespread Internet doping scandal.
The wrestling congomerate based in Stamford announced that it will suspend 10 of its biggest stars for violation of its wellness policy.
Top wrestlers Randy Orton, Charles Haas, Jr., Adam "Edge" Copeland, Robert "Booker T" Huffman, Shane Helms, Mike Bucci, Anthony Carelli, John "Johnny Nitro" Hennigan, Darren "William Regal" Matthews, Ken "Mr. Kennedy" Anderson and Chavo Guerrero were all identified as clients of Signature Pharmacy in Orlando, the site raided by Albany County and Florida law enforcement agencies in February for distributing steroids and other prescription drugs to clients who had not been examined by doctors. The investigation is part of a probe into illegal Internet drug distribution by Albany D.A. David Soares.
How big is this!?!?!? As if things couldn't get much worse for WWE, this bombshell gets dropped! Orton, Edge, Booker, Kennedy, Nitro.......thats FIVE main event names that are on very thin ice. Something needs to be sorted out and quickly before the company implodes.

Bloody hell that is huge news. WWE were rumoured to just about to give Randy Orton a big main event push. What will happen with Kennedy as well? He was supposed to be Vince's "son." It wont hurt Edge so much as he is out injured as it is. As for Gregory Helms, Nitro, Regal, Guerrero and Booker I couldn't care less. Although I hope Booker leaves because of this. This link explains the mess pretty well. www.pwinsider.com/ViewArticle.asp?id=26304&p=1Umaga, Batista and Chris Masters have been named too, so I guess WWE is pretty fucked now. Nearly all their main event talent is gone.

Wow more people keep getting named all the time. My favorite, which made me laugh all day was Funaki lol.
So there is: Booker Kennedy Orton Edge Batista Nitro Chavo Helms Regal Haas Funaki Umaga Masters Simon Dean Santino Marella
This is huge. Shame Rey and Cena got away with it....now would be the best time ever to push CM Punk in light of all this.

Yep, WWE is sure screwed by this. I'm just really wondering who these "ten" lucky people were that were suspended, but I'm pretty sure the names above are on the suspension list for sure.

You can add TNA's Everything Champion Kurt Angle to that list of stars connected to roids now. I wonder how TNA will deal with this considering WWE have suspended everyone on the list? It'd be stupid for them to ignore it, as it could end up do irreversible damage to the company's public image.

From wwe.comIt was always gonna happen sooner or later, Christ knows how many title shots he's had already. I can only imagine this is the beginning of Morrison's suspension. As if WWE does not already blow dogs for quarters, then this shit comes along. Man, what a state. Somebody somewhere needs to take a step back and think long-term about WWE, cos if not, billionaire or not, Vince ain't gonna flog this dead horse for much longer.

I'm a little disappointed with Booker T. But the others don't surprise me. I remember back in the day when both Edge and Christian suddenly "bulked" up. Fortunately, while I don't pay much attention to Edge, Christian "de-bulked" very quickly. I don't know what doctor he used, but he has at least admitted to trying steroids for a short period. As for TNA, the good thing is that most of their players are not roided freaks. So I think they can go without addressing the matter. My final comment: Looks like the women's division is all the WWE has left. ETA: Forgot about the Steiners. Maybe TNA does have a little something to worry about.

I dunno, without drug testing it's hard to say who is on what in TNA. They obviously have more then a few on roids there. I'm quite suprised they haven't used this as an attack on the WWE.
With Angle being named though it makes you wonder what TNA are going to about it, WWE have suspended wrestlers over it and have even made releases over the issue. WWE is the mainstream company to congress so it'll be an all out attack on them. But TNA need to do something and quick because it won't be long before the spotlight falls on them over the matter.

Well Dixie Carter (who kind of runs TNA with the Jarrett's) was sent a very stern letter asking what TNA do to prevent drugs in their company so they are going to have to do something what with Kurt, Stieners and Test (who was fired after failing a test in the WWE). Hopefully this means smaller athletic men like AJ, Punk, Daniels and Matt Hardy will get pushed. Like in 92 when Bret and HBK were put into the main events after a drug scandal.
