It's real!
Not sure what the plan is yet, but an angle with Vince is on the cards. Obviously anything with the Hart Dynasty will be great and then there is Shawn....
Now Bret has said he didn't want to be on any show HBK is. Maybe DX winning the tag belts is a way to move them over to SD for a bit so Bret can be on Raw with Vince?
Either way I am psyched!

It will most likely be a special guest host spot, as was hinted at on the Slammys show. It will be great to see him again, but he needs to get over Shawn and deal with it. It's been over twelve fucking years for Christ's sake. This screwjob bitterness was old TEN years ago. Anyway, Bret screwed Bret. Everyone knows that.

It's confirmed, Bret will be hosting Next Week's Raw. Also the show that goes head to head with TNA. There goes any chance of TNa making an impact. What would you want to see more? Hogan debut in TNA? or Bret "Hitman" Hart return to WWE? The question doesn't even need an answer. If you chose the first, you're a moron.
From what i've read, he signed a short term deal (PWI reports 6 months) so I'm guessing it'll be Hart vs. McMahon at WM.

I SERIOUSLY hope Hart never has another match again. It's just not worth it.
What they may do is Taker vs. Shawn again (which might be cool as you know Shawn won't lose twice against Taker at Mania.... except you know that he will which is fun) but this time with Bret Hart as the referee. Which is almost like that classic Summerslam match with Hart as the ref instead of HBK.
HBK really needs to turn heel imo...
And just for the record VINCE screwed Bret.

Did anybody watch? I caught a little bit of it - Hart's 'confrontations' with both Michaels and Vince. It was pretty fun to watch, although I was disappointed when they turned it into just another wrestling angle by the end. Oh well. Unfortunately I didn't catch Jericho's backstage segment with Bret. I bet that was awesome.
I will admit to flipping back and forth between this and TNA's three-hour special, though. With the returns of Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, Jeff Hardy, Jeff Jarrett, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman all in one night, the biggest coup of all would have to be TNA's bagging Val Venis. I mean, can you believe it? THE Val Venis!

I've seen both now and iMPACT just seemed too packed with stuff to keep me interested. Plus it very quickly turned to the "hulk hogan show." Bubba Love was introduced to the announcers table (wtf?) and a ton of other shit on behalf of Hogan. Also my other annoyance with impact is the fact that they had a 3 hour show and the total amount of time actual wrestling was shown is... 38 Minutes. Sure they got some coups, but after ad breaks the show still had a run time of 2 Hours and 25 Minutes. Way to kill time.
Raw was a good show and for once, featured a decent amount of wrestling. Unlike TNA WWE filled their show with 52 minutes of wrestling. Which isn't too bad for a show they gets a total runtime of 95 minutes after ads.

TNA did had AJ and Kurt go over 20 minutes though and have a MOTYC 4 days into the new year! Sserously this was crazy, crazy night with so many talking points!
- Jeff Hardy redubtes for TNA! - Bret Hart HUGS Shawn Michaels??!! - Flair in TNA! - ODB new KO champ.... wtf?! - Kong and Hamada win the tag belts in a great match. - Rhodes and Ted threaten to kick Orton out of Legcy if he loses - Maryse! - Strip poker with the Beautiful People! - "Hey yo!" - The nWo invade TNA! - Santino imitates Jericho and tension grows between DX... - Hellllllllloooooo TNA - Orton wins but tension grows between the Legacy.... - Bischoff in TNA! - Impact is Orlando..... Orlando Jordan that is!! - Bret calls Y2J the biggest whiner in the Dungeon! - TNA turns Nasty - Moore TNA for Shannon - DX beat Jerrishow in a great match - More strip poker! - Hogan makes Jarrett humble - AJ and Kurt have a MOTYC - Vince low blows Bret!
I am sure I missed something too! So to recap Impact saw the return or debuts of;
- Jeff Hardy - Ric Flair - Eric Bischoff - Sean Waltman - Scott Hall - Orlando Jordan - Val Venis - Shannon Moore - The Nasty Boys - Bubba the Love Sponge
Their roster was ALREADY too full!

Oh and the American Dragon himself Bryan Danielson had a dark match last night against Chavo which was meant to be quite good too!

The Nasty Boys? I'm glad I missed that part.
But I am deeply saddened that I missed Orlando Jordan's debut.

From what I read Orlando just showed up during a Pope segment and talk down to him.... as if Jordon has the right to talk down to anybody let alone the great D'Angelo Dinero! I'm such a mark for Burke it's not even funny!

Yeah Angle/AJ went twenty minutes but it's still in my time total. Way too many skits on TNA for my liking this week. It should off been like a free PPV show. Showcase their best talents and go from there. And as for the Nast Boys being in TNA, it's very quickly going to become WCW. Just like everyone said ti would be. Hogan and Bischoff have bought in nearly all of their friends.
And as for Hardy, his case has been taken to the Grand Court after evidence showed he had 28 bottles of roids in his car. Good signing there TNA!

One person who wasn't a fan of the Monday Night War was Jim Cornette.
I hate that bitter fucking wanker.
Anyway in more upbeat news (or perhaps VERY bad news) is that TNA despite being out of their timeslot and going up against the WWE recorded their highest ever rating. The scary part is that it proves that Hogan=ratings and he got the most watched segment of the show.
The WWE's ratings meanwhile were up too, but not as high as they were hoping as they expected Bret Hart to give the show a bigger boost.

That Angle match was a major disappointment. Dragged on forever with nothing happening.
Finisher, nearfall, finisher, nearfall, repeat. Come on.
Also, my first time seeing Raven wrestle in years and he loses in under a minute. Let down.
I was impressed by that british guy (can't remember his name). Seemed like a good mat wrestler, which I love. Needs some polishing but has potential.
Oh and also NWO IS BACK!!! WAGAHUGHAGAUHGH!!!
I'm going to have to start watching TNA regularly now.

That's him. I liked him. Had some innovative moves that blew me away.
Don't get mad, Knoxville. I've been out of the wrestling scene for a long time now. At least I recognized his talent.
I still think he a was a bit rough around the edges. The ideas were there but the execution was lacking. At least in that match.
