So I've decided to do this in a completely different way. As of this morning, I have blocked all wrestling websites on my computer. For the whole month of Feb, I'm going to go cold turkey on wrestling news and see if I enjoy the products any more than I have been by knowing the spoilers. You chose the shortest month of the year to try this? That's commitment. Anyway, I've been doing this for the past two years or so. I'm gonna say it doesn't help. I forgot February was the shortest month in the year. I'm hoping it will somewhat improve it. Even if it means I watch it a bit more actively because I dont know the results.

What he said. I never read wrestling spoilers and I enjoy wrestling less now than I did when I never had thinternet. I reckon that's just cos it's wank though.

Spoilers are for jerks. Then again I haven't watched wrestling regularly for years. In fact, I haven't watched wrestling at all since Hogan & them came to TNA. Been meaning to. What night is that on?

It's on Saturday here, so you could always take a trip to the UK to catch it!!!

Missed it again. Shit.
Tried to watch Smackdown at work the other night but my coworker was all, "I don't like sports!" Then I was all, "Wrestling's not a sport, it's more like ballet. Chicks dig ballet." Then she was all "No it's not." So I didn't watch it. But I thought about it.

I never really read spoilers. They really do detract from watchability... All you can do is guess 'Is this it?' as the matches progress. I haven't watched wrestling since 2002, but honestly, it's true of anything. If you know the final score in a basketball or football or curling or whatever match, it's definitely less engaging. Stating the obvious, I guess...
That said, even without spoilers, I was put off WWF's work years ago... I can only imagine the steady decline since then. I'm finding myself using UFC to fill the void these days.
